We visited in November when it was pretty quiet in town. The hotel offered a nice 15% fall discount on their website so we stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the river for a great rate. Nice downtown location although a lot of places are closed on Sunday. Enjoyed the breakfast.

The location of this hotel is great. Very close to downtown's charming restaurants, antique shops, and museums. The views of the Mississippi River are spectacular. Check in was a bit slow and the hotel does not have a restaurant.

Had a lovely suite with balcony over the Mississippi River. Room was very comfortable and had a small kitchen area but oddly no dishes or glassware. Reception was very welcoming with warm cookies on arrival. Breakfast area was very crowded with a tour but we managed to find an area in the bar. Breakfast was adequate. Lobby was nicely appointed...

Stayed here for a business trip. Although the hotel looks nice from the outside, the carpets were all stained and dirty, giving the hotel an overall appearance of being unclean. Had to change rooms because the room initially assigned to me had crumbs on the carpet and a clock that did not work. The location is lovely, next to the...

We stayed for only one night at this hotel - wished we had stayed longer. The hotel itself is grand! It has an impressive location on the bluff over the Mississippi River, we experience a stunning sunset while sipping drinks on the front porch. Our junior suite was large, very well appointed and spotlessly clean, with a partial view of...

Just as nice as when we here here 6 months ago. Staff welcoming at check in, room was clean and had 2nd floor view of the river. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet, but for less than $100, we'll worth it.

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Grand and thoroughly enjoyed it. Spotlessly clean, excellent service, great location and our very reasonably priced suite was fit for a King (no pun intended). Beautiful room and very comfortable bed. As we were walking down the hall to leave on our last day one of the cleanup ladies stopped to...

As soon as we walked in the room, on Labor Day evening I could tell it had not been cleaned -- they were kind of busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thinking tomorrow they will clean . Girl Came in next day restocked and made beds--I had to write a note explaining exactly what I wanted...
