I have just fulfilled a dream to explore Natchez, Mississippi. I was lured by tales, both happy and sad, of the people who lived there, ante-bellum and post-bellum. Especially, I was interested in viewing the magnificent houses opened to visitors for spring pilgrimage. My husband and I stayed three nights at Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast. The 1830s Planter's Style...

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to let fellow travelers to Natchez know about the Oak Hill Inn. My sister, mother, and I loved the tour of homes, but enjoyed our B&B even more! The home is centrally located, beautiful both inside and out, the food was delicious, and the hosts welcoming and informative. Thank you Doug and Don...

The inn is in a central location. The rooms were great. The hosts gave pointers on how to spend our time and where to eat dinner. We would return in a heartbeat. The hosts serve a gourmet breakfast every morning. They also serve a cocktail at 5 and fresh baked cookies during the day.

Our decision to stay at Oak Hill came from a personal recommendation, and my wife and I could not have been more pleased. We were greeted after a long drive with cocktails and fresh cookies. We stayed in the original Master bedroom which was like stepping back in time yet not without modern amenities. Don and Doug were so kind...

We booked through a recommendation in the lonely planet guide and everything was perfect. Cocktails on arrival and gourmet breakfasts it was perfect in all ways. The resident cats make you feel at home as well and be sure to ask for your special cuddle if so inclined like me!

Oak Hill Inn was all I could ever want from a two night stay in an historic southern home! Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The mint julep was my first and I doubt that any others will beat it! Yum. Doug and Don are gracious hosts and provided us with useful tips for sightseeing. They even made reservations...

My husband and I just completed a three week road trip to the south. We stayed pretty much exclusively in B and B's. This property is outstanding. As all the other guests have stated, the hosts are exceptional. There always seems to be a fine balance between "too chatty" and friendly in hosts. Doug and Don do this with grace....

Doug and Don are a dream! My mother said it was the best mint julep she'd ever tasted! Everything was divine. There is something very special about breakfast in the dining room. Even the other guests were delightful. Money and time well spent - will not disappoint. I can't wait to come back.
