Booked a twin room - stayed on the second floor, perfectly comfortable room and well equipped. Quiet and peaceful area with roadside parking. Had to park about 50 yards away but no issue. Very hospitable hosts and great breakfast! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We were sold a spacious twin room with views over the garden - we were given a cramped twin in the loft with a Velux window. It wasn't ideal and we kept banging our heads on the tv that was attached to a wall bracket near the door. Make sure you get what you pay for.

The Hosts at this B&B were very nice. The room was very comfortable and spacious, we had twin road in front. The private bath for our room was upstairs, which made for the journey at night. Street parking was easy and they were restaurants close by – within walking distance.

My partner and I stayed at Brecon Lodge on the recommendation of my cousin who lives locally. We were booked into the top room which has its own en suite. The room is pleasant although there did seem to be quite alot of audio equipment that wasn't being used and just took up space. Having said that it wasn't an...

After a very lengthy phone discussion with the owner we booked the 'luxury' and 'newly renovated' room on the ground floor. It didn't have an en-suite but we were assured that we had our own entrance, it was completely self-contained, and the bathroom was just down the corridor, no-one would disturb us. The room is at the front of the...

We are glad you liked the location and surroundings, but disappointed with your comments otherwise. Our rooms are accurately described as you might expect and we clearly point out that the room you chose to book was not En-Suite but has a Private Bathroom (away from the room). We do not accept your other comments, but would respectfully point out...

Enjoyed our stay at the Brecon Lodge. It was a beautiful setting, quiet and a short walk to Penarth Pier. The room was very clean and the fresh breakfast was something to look forward to in the morning.
