My husband and I spent a night at the hotel. What a great place: the views, staff, decor, menu - everything was wonderful. The town itself is a must see, too, and very captivating, especially at night. Highly recommend everything.

This was our second Christmas at Portmerion and I imagined this visit would be as good as our first. How wrong I was, it was better! Great attention is paid to detail and the staff are very welcoming. Portmerion ranks among the best places I have stayed and has become a strong favourite. Diolch yn fawr.

It was unfaultable. We stayed in the hotel but would consider one if the delightful village houses on another visit. The food was amazing and we have psid twice the amount for less quality. Staff charming. Grounds impressive.

Stayed for just 1 night at the hotel but the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The room was large, clean and tidy; the staff were friendly and attentive; the location was fantastic.

We stayed for 3 nights over New Year. This was the 28th time we'd stayed at the hotel, so it's fair to say that we have a strong bias towards it. It truly is one of the very best settings in the whole of the UK which obviously gives the hotel a natural advantage and which in the past meant...

I have been wanted to stay here for years and have never found the time when they were not fully booked. Loved our room overlooking the sea. Breakfast was excellent dinner was good and fish courses were cooked well but not too sure about flavour combinations. Had beautiful sunny weather for time of year

I don't quite know where to start as almost everthing about the break was superb. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself was very pleasant without being opulent. The food was excellent, although they do make rather strong coffee. The cherry on the cake was the surronding village of Portmeirion, which just has to be seen to be...

Service was amazing , a little slow but we didn't complain , we were enjoying ourselves too much !! Nevertheless ,...

Portmerion Village was already a favourite - but to stay in one of the Village rooms was just a dream! Spacious, complimentary sherry, fab view over the village to the sea, luxurious branded toiletries - it surely doesn't get better than this?! We had dinner in the Hotel which was exceptional and the staff were exemplary in their attention. Love...
