My wife and I stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives. The managers and staff gave fantastic customer service, and they really helped to make our stay happy and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was good. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. The room was clean and large enough for the two of us. There are a few maintenance items like the low water...

We were visiting family, and we got a great deal through laterooms for bed and breakfast. The room was spotless. Yes, a bit tired, but cleanliness is surely more important than fancy decor? Staff couldn't do enough to help and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast-I must say was the highlight. Hot, plentiful and those sausages!! Fantastic!. The only reason I...

We paid £39-50 for a double en suite with breakfast. All that I asked for was a clean bed and a clean bathroom. Got both!!! Very comfy bed and a spotlessly clean bathroom. Room small, but what do you expect at that rate. Staff were very helpful and friendly and kept the kitchen open so we could eat on Saturday...

To be honest , it's basic it's clean it's not bad..... The staff can't do enough for you, It is value for money..we stopped just 2 nights and it's fine if your only using it as a sleepover...the breakfast is good , the evening meals were ok (pub food). But for £40 a night it's v.f.m.

The Grange was used as a one night stop over as an alternative hotel closer to work in Hamilton was more expensive when booking. It's a you get what you pay for hotel, a cheap room with ensuite and the bonus of a breakfast included. The room was basic, the ensuite small but perfectly fine, the bed was a bit...

WE stayed here one night at the end of January. Due to the price we were expecting very basic accommodation and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was very good. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Sure there were a few gripes but nothing worth reporting.

My Wife and I were treated to an unexplained, unjustified, tirade of ill-mannered non-sense from a young-ish bearded staff member wearing chef's whites. This 'gentleman' offered us no explanation nor reason for his treatment of us and is the epitome of this Hotel, cheap, tacky, poor. This is one establishment to be avoided for good. I cannot understand how this...

My husband and myself have stayed here for 5 nights. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is very nice. The room is very basic and small, albeit clean and tidy. I would stay here again as i tend to be led by how the staff treat guests, and i have to say ALL staff were truly lovely....

As a business traveller, I have no say on where I stay as it is booked by the company and I turn up. Two side's to the review: Room & Meals. Check in was very smooth, although had to go into the bar as this seems to be the main reception point. Friendly and polite staff. Firstly the room: very...
