My wife and I stayed in The Spinnaker Hotel as we were in Gourock for a family function. I am originally from the town and used to frequent the hotel in days gone by. I am delighted to report that it is still the same friendly establishment that I remember and Stewart (owner) and his team go out of their... More

I chose the hotel because they do dogs extremely well. I was sooo pleased to find they do people well also. I have stayed several times recently. I enjoy the friendly and helpful staff, the spectacular view of the Clyde, the warming fire in the cozy lounge, the great food, wine and cider, the non-intrusive but soothing background music, all... We popped into 'The Spinny' for dinner the other week. We were on our way to Glasgow for a concert, so it was early evening. The food we ordered tasted delicious, was delivered to the table quickly and presented well. I had a nice glass of wine, an ice cold Chardonnay. The driver had to stick to diet coke. The... More

This was my first visit to The Spinnaker in many years. I enjoyed a delicious lunch - possibly the best sticky toffee pudding ever! Staff really friendly and attentive. Relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Superb value for a top lunch.

A lovely little hotel with incredible views across the Clyde! My wife and I are regulars for lunch and have been to a few gigs at night with live music, plus we hold family events there too! The menu is excellent with a variety of dishes. Very family orientated and they do a selection of childrens dishes (which they also... More

Our room at Spinnaker was big, comfortable and had a panoramic view of the Clyde River. The manager, Stuart, was most affable = a pleasure to meet and chat with him. Dinner in the pub, which was buzzing, was exactly what we expect and enjoy in a pub. Guests were taking quietly underneath us until about 1.30am but it seemed... More
