Spent 3 fantastic nights at the Salal Cottage this time. Huge for 2 people! So many options...inside and out...for relaxing, enjoying the outdoors and indoors. Built near 1950, and featured in the 1952 Sunset Magazine, Salal is a treasure. Great architecture! Inside has

We stayed here recently while visiting the southern portion of Mount Rainier NP. This cabin was so artistically and expertly built. There is beautiful wood everywhere, on the floors, walls and ceiling. We stayed in Maple Wild and had our own private deck with a hot tub. All of

HI, for your info there are floor plans on our website. Chanterelle is 260 sq ft, our smallest cabin. Thank you, Janet

Hi, Cedar Grove is toasty warm. It has heated floor in bathroom, electric heat in bathroom, electric heat in main rooms, and gas fireplace. Plus it is over insulated! As far as roads in December, this is unknown. Sometimes we get no snow at all and sometimes we get snow for months. The main road is always plowed but could be icy. Our driveway we keep plowed if snow. However, if there is snow it is best to have 4WD or chains. Chains can be rented in Ashford. You must carry chains or have 4WD to go inside Mt Rainier National Park in the winter. Thank you, Janet

do they do house keeping everyday? or provide fresh towels every day?
Most guests desire to be left alone, like it is their own cabin, so we provide way more towels etc then you will usually need. But you can request any level of housekeeping you desire. Thank you, Janet
