This is a very old lodge a few miles from the entrance to Mount Rainier. We liked the crisp mountain air, the outside patio, and the quiet parlor for relaxing. The full, hearty breakfast is great, especially if you are going hiking. The room didn't have quite enough floor space and we felt crowded with our stuff. We shared a...

We forgot that other areas of Mt. Rainier Park were closed to traffic so we just stopped in to see if there was room in the lodge. We scored room #11 which is in the tower portion of the lodge. It was great! The lodge is only 1.2 miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier NP. The lodge is a...

Beautiful lodge with very welcoming staff. Checking in was very smooth and straight forward. The lodge has a very comfy and cozy atmosphere to it. The suite we stayed in was nice and clean and had a deck that is connected to a big outdoor area. The main bedroom had a 360 view with nice green landscaping surround it. There's...

We booked for a night at the Tower of Alexander's. It's one of a kind and the proprietor has truly made sure that most of the original fixtures and structure were still there. Most of us would think it's unsafe for the most part as the stairs are so steep. Bathroom is tiny, floor is clearly not even and you'll...

I really liked this lodge! We stayed here for one night in Feb 2017 as we were heading to Mt. Rainier. It was definitely a unique feel and sights make you feel right in the wilderness (loved the trout pond!). The buffet breakfast in the AM was much appreciated and was substantial enough for two vegetarians/vegans to get a good...

(We stayed at the Chalet suite) Pros: - tastefully maintained and furnished - clean and has a warm homely feel - they've stocked some games and music to keep the family entertained - nice extras - convenient parking right behind the suite, a quiet back porch (we even had a deer hop in to nibble at a fallen apple!), very...

We stayed in the Chalet first 5 days through Christmas. We had a wonderful time, the amenities and area were perfect for a magical time. We did not try the restaurant or breakfast, the Chalet has a full kitchen. Thank you for making our holiday fun and memorable.

I've seen some scathing reviews about this place and I may have went in with lower expectations, but really if you take everything into consideration such as the age of this place and the alternatives in the area, this place is pretty solid. I don't know if there was a staff change or if maybe the people complaining about the...

We went to mt Rainer national park for a fun filled day in the snow. Unfortunately we got there a little too late and they were closing as soon as we got there. We didn't want to drive all the way home after promising the girls a fun outing,so we took our chances and decided to look for a place...

We stayed at this lodge on Saturday 11/18/2016 after a disastrous night at a bed and breakfast near their. Alexander's Lodge was immaculate and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a large common room with a wonderful electric fireplace and two very comfortable couches as well as videos and games available for use at no charge....
