Slightly daunting when you visit the first time and you keep driving up this winding hill ...but its worth it when you get there! Slightly old fashioned but in a positive way, very friendly, room adequate without being stunning, food very good both in evening and breakfast and staff very friendly and service focused. Price so reasonable I would of...

Lyncombe lodge was hidden away up a winding road behind an inland ski centre. A lovely location and a clean and welcoming hotel for a short stay. The room (5) was clean and of an adequate size. The staff were helpful and full of local information. The evening menu was modest (6 main courses ) and some dishes we felt...

Visited the hotel as part of a Wowcher deal - we don't live very far away but fancied a short break away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! - we had a spacious double room overlooking the dry ski slope, which was warm and very comfortable. Very quiet overnight. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent - waiting...

Invited to a ruby weeding function at the lodge recently and although local to the area didn't know the place existed. Approx 70 guests sat down for a 3 course meal, ably served by the staff without to much of a wait. The location was very good, although parking could be somewhat tight, but with views over the local countryside...

What a lovely find! So glad we did not overlook this place. While it could do with a little general upgrading, overall the hotel was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. The breakfast was amongst the best I have had anywhere. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay long enough to try an evening meal, maybe...

Stayed on Saturday night on a wowcher deal. Place tucked away up a country lane. Hotel staff were friendly, family run. Rooms were nicely furnished with tea making facilities and large TV. Our room overlooked the dry ski slope which was a nice view, We had dinner in the hotel that evening "valentine menu". This was okay, a little over...

Just spent three nights at Lyncombe Lodge Hotel. Its an excellent hotel in a beautiful wooded area. And right next to a dry ski school, which was brilliant to watch at night. Our room was lovely with everything you need. Breakfast was very good, you wouldn't get better anywhere. We chose to eat in the restaurant all three nights. The...

My husband and I went on a short break to the Lyncombe Lodge. Not having any previous knowledge of the hotel I just went on my 'gut' instinct and I was not disappointed. The hotel was in a beautiful quiet location and I would imagine in the summer it would be outstanding. It was very clean and tidy, the meals...

The drive to the lodge was just magical. It's like a fairy-tale world with the most wonderful scenery. It was autumn and the colours of the leaves in the surrounding trees were awesome. The Lodge was quirky, clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were cosy, modern and clean. Our room overlooked the ski lift...
