We spent two nights in this quaint little period quest house and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We arrived at half 11 at night to be greeted by the owner, David. He brought us to our room and introduced us to the breakfast system.....which was so plentiful and inviting, it was also our supper that evening. There was a well...

Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. I liked the place, nice easy welcome when I arrived about 9pm., nice old fashioned room, small bathroom, but not a problem at all, very quaint and nice. It was quiet at night for me, and the in room breakfast suited me perfectly. For the price, and convenient location to the...

I stayed here the night before my wedding. I met the owner who was very friendly. The room was clean and had loads of character. It had lots of little extras like a mini fridge, TV, plates and cutlery. Check-out is 11am but he agreed I could extend it to 1pm for no extra cost. As for the noise, it...

Just returned from a fabulous 10 day visit to England- This is a two part review. The first part is based on traveling with a family, and the second part is traveling as a couple... The room was cleaned daily, and snacks/drinks were restocked. Family- it was very difficult traveling with 2 young children (1yr and 4 yr), however David...

Stayed here as was looking for a central base. The room was beautiful however parking was terrible. There is one space for 4 rooms which is not made clear when booking. All was good until around 6 oclock when the NIGHTCLUB opposite started playing music which became louder and louder as the night went on. Due to it being an...

Super location (BS Center). Impeccably clean. The owners, who also assume the housekeeping, are very friendly and responsive to needs even if not on the premises all the time. Breakfast snacks are good quality and sufficient. However, this old building’s floors crack and the walls are not sound proof, so inside noise can be annoying. The bathroom equipment is antiquated...

There are only four rooms in this tiny guest house and we both felt very clusterfonbic. We had a twin room and we were absolutely freezing all night, it was then I noticed that one window was broken with literally a piece of plastic covering the window and the windows were very old, hence the loud goings on from the...

Just stayed for one night and was very pleased. Lovely owner. Very warm room. Selection for breakfast was very good as well. Would stay again when next in the town. The fridge in the room was a bonus and couldn't believe how quiet it was.

Stayed here for one night only (Friday). Parking was tricky as it is shared with a doctors surgery, I was advised to leave before the surgery opened in the morning to avoid getting blocked in !! Booked a room with private shower, this was next door to the bedroom which was unexpected. Room was nice, bed comfy, hard to sleep...
