We keep on going back, we love the ambiance, the food, the service, the surroundings, the veg are always overcooked for our personal taste but we know how difficult that is to get right. The fish is always excellent, great puddings, lovely mussels and if they happen to have lobster go for it, the thermidor is fantastic.

We stayed here for the 3 night Christmas break and had a wonderful time. The food was very good, there was a lovely atmosphere and (the best thing) the staff were amazing! From the cleaning girls to the manager, all could not do enough for you and were always very friendly. Would certainly come again.

Fabulous fabulous Christmas break. Food was out of this world. Family run hotel and it showed. Staff were friendly, efficient and happy!! There were 7 of us in 5 rooms. Couple of the single rooms needed a bit of TLC but everywhere was very clean and housekeeping was brilliant. Can't recommend highly enough and believe me that's a serious recommendation....

Our groups Christmas lunch was very disappointing. Firstly, there was nobody to greet and inform where we could hang our coats - I had to ask. Secondly my lamb shank was okay but the roast potatoes were 'bashed' about, the carrots were fine but the brussels were just too hard to be even considered al dente and the presentation of...

! am a volunteer at a local charity shop, here in Cromer. Today (Sunday) we had our "Christmas Dinner at the Cliftonville. There was a group of 20 of us, booked in for 1pm. We were called in to the dining area a few minutes before one and, at the appointed time, our meal was served. The food was served...

We stayed at the Cliftonville Hotel for two nights recently and am pleased to say how good it was, only a small hotel with 30 rooms (all with Sea View). We were impressed with the attention to detail at all levels during our stay. This hotel is and Edwardian Gem, just a short walk from the centre of Cromer. There...
