Finally got round to writing this. Having walking difficulties we were given a high floor. The room was dirty with chipped and old furniture. The public areas were not hoovered and the whole hotel smelt musty. The food portions at Breakfast and Dinner were small and cold. We will not go again and are unanimous in that!!!

Firstly I enquired about disabled parking as 2 of the 4 guests staying were blue badge holders - apparently you have to fight for the limited parking along with able bodied customers as they do not have even 1 disabled bay and really don't seem to care. Then they cancelled our booking 3 weeks ahead of our stay stating there were issues with the 2 rooms we had booked that would not be rectified in time. I found this very strange so called the head office booking line who said there were no such problems with any rooms and suspected the hotel had overbooked and were trying to lie their way out of the problem. You just don't treat people like that - also you couldn't get through to them on the Cromer number, for a week the phone just rang and rang, then when I emailed I was told there had been a problem with their phone line - yes they were socially distancing themselves from the phone!!! This was a special anniversary trip for our best friends who had been here many times - but after our shocking experience in September 2020 they said they would never return there.

Stayed here for 3 nights last week the hotel was fine, and the staff helpful apart from a mature lady on reception who leapt out and look my partner's temperature without warning or a mask. The breakfast was fine and well organised, the hotel is past it's best and suited to old people..the view from the room was excellent but parking was an issue..

We thought this was a great value hotel, centrally located, near to the sea and with comfortable beds. Friendly welcome. We'd recommend avoiding the scrambled eggs at breakfast however, maybe simply go for poached or fried instead.

We had a 6 night stay last week. Paying the extra for a sea view was well worth it. A lovely view of the pier and people drifting along prom. A big bright bathroom with bath and shower over. The staff at this Hotel are exceptional, especially in these tricky times. The Restaurant has well spaced tables and meals are served in a pleasant manner. The girls should be commended! The choice and quality of food was good and always hot. They have a System and it works! Reception staff were efficient, always ready to answer any queries. We requested a quiet room and it was. This area is great for coastal walks. Hope to be back!
