My family recently stayed at the sandcliff for a two night midweek stay. For the money we paid we were not honestly expecting much, but we were really pleasantly surprised. The entire hotel is completely spotless almost clinically clean. Our room was on the top floor, the view was amazing and we could easily have spent the entire two days...

Thank you for taking the time to review The Sandcliff. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and really appreciate you saying its great value. We have updated a number of rooms recently and a further two are being started next week. Hopefully when you return you will stay in one of the new rooms. Many Thanks, Hugh Garnish

The welcome and service from the owners and staff could not have been more accommodating. 7 weary and muddy cyclists turned up later than anticipated - no problem and 'would you like me to put your clothes through the wash'? Wow. Thank you. Clean rooms and fab breakfast.

The warm welcome we received when checking in, out and at breakfast was really impressive. The location is perfect - close enough to town that walking is easy, but far enough away that noise isn't a problem. The views from many of the rooms overlook a great seafront park. Rooms were well appointed and the ensuite in our room was...

This was our first visit to Cromer and to the Sandcliff, but it won't be the last. We have stayed in five star hotels and not had the welcome and the service this establishment provided. From the outset the people were helpful and friendly and the personal service and banter in the restaurant was brilliant. Not only good service but...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Sandcliffe and from the welcome we received to the hug from Val on leaving we could not find fault. Need I say more! Breakfast was buffet style cereals, fruit, etc. and we are small eaters and we catered for just as we wanted and everything cooked well.

We had a three night break in April so booked a room. A warm, friendly place and a warm welcome. Nice room with amazingly comfortable beds and superb bed linen. Breakfast excellent, (don't miss the fresh fruit bowl and delicious thick yogurt). A fine lounge to sit awhile should you wish. Position only five minutes walk from the railway station...

Stayed here this week end with my son in a double room, enjoying the green golf grounds with the sea views. Comfy breads, clean shared bathroom, sumptuous breakfast and a very warm welcome from the reception with tips where to eat, made our stay memorable. Will definitely return again for Cromer and Sandcliff.

Got this large family room on late bookings for £50 for the night. £15 for breakfast and our under 12 ate free! A lovely clean, large room with a sea view and en suite. Lovely breakfast and plenty to eat as well as variety. Catered brilliantly for my son's egg allergy. A perfect overnight stay thank you
