It was not easy for me to decide to travel to Icmeler while listening all those heartbreaking media reports about the devastating wildfires that were spreading in Turkey in August. However, we went to Icmeler, and I am more than happy that I booked our 8-night vacation in the Aqua hotel. This hotel’s all-inclusive packet gives value for money if you value excellent service, very professional staff, tasteful food, and premises that were in perfect condition. The hotel was awesome and is without a doubt on the best location in Içmeler. It is located on the beach and has its own swimming pool and a huge and well-kept garden that was my favorite spot during our stay. Rooms are very comfortable, not very big but modern and very well decorated. The view from our room was excellent, we really enjoyed it. The room was cleaned daily and despite the pandemic, we did not experience any discomfort in this regard. Face masks were mandatory for staff and guests indoors in all public areas. Face mask usage outdoors was not as widespread, but the risk of coronavirus spread outdoors is much lower than indoors, so this was not a big problem. The hotel was not full due to the unfortunate fires as well as the pandemics, so not all services were open, but the main restaurant served meals three times a day. Additionally, there is a small patisserie corner where one could have as much cake or pastry you want, next to this is the Sunset Bar. This is the quiet chill out area to have a drink of whatever you want and a chat or relax in the sun. Aside from the amazing facilities, what made this hotel stand out for me is the professionalism of its staff. Each and every staff, from managers to waiters, bar staff (Ishak in particular!) and cleaners, are as committed to create an amazing vacation for its guests. And, not to forget our dear "gözleme lady" who was making this famous Turkish dish in 38C but still managed to smile and treat guests with respect and courtesy. Thank you to all the staff for making this an amazing visit. Lastly, big congratulations to the owner and all the managers of the hotel who like the staff worked such long hours to ensure that every guest was looked after!

We arrived in the early hours and was met by a pleasant guy on the reception who quickly checked us in, then offered us some food and drinks. We declined the food but after a day of travelling and delays we certainly needed a drink. We were given a room on the side of the hotel and after a short sleep checked out the room, if you leant over the balcony, you could see the sea. The room was good, quite a small bathroom but adequate, there are lots of electrical sockets to plug your phones, tablets, and laptops into when charging is needed. There is quite a good Wi-Fi pick up in the room so no need to walk about trying to find a good reception. We asked for 10 more hangers and 2 extra pillows via the room phone, and they were delivered within minutes. We locked ourselves out of the safe and again the staff sorted it out 15 minutes later. There is an armchair in the room which in our opinion would be better replaced with a set of drawers which would be more useful, the chair was only used to hang clothes over. The air con was great and with temperatures reaching 43 degrees it was needed. The twin beds were really comfy and were longer and wider than normal. The mini bar was free to use and was restocked daily with water, chocolate, nibbles, milk, beer, and soft drinks. The food was great, ok, at breakfast there wasn’t any bacon or pork sausages but everything else was freshly cooked and hot. The lunch and dinner menu were very good and was spoilt for choice, we loved the food in the restaurant. Also, at lunch you can order food from the snack bar, burgers, pizza, chips, toasties etc., and these were cooked to order. Drinks were plentiful all day, the waiters were really on the ball especially during the evening show when it got really busy. For those that like lager there is Carlsberg and Tuborg and were both decent drinks/ Out of the 10 days we had at the Aqua we spent 8 on the beach, at 11am and 3pm a drinks trolly was brought down and soft drinks were served to anyone that wanted them, and they were always welcome in the hot weather. Even though we were all inclusive I expected to eat out sometimes and have a few drinks, but we only went out one night and all told we spent £100 during this holiday and that includes 2 pairs of shoes and a boat trip to Turunc. The exchange rate while we were there was 20.05 YTL to the £1 It has been said many times that the staff and the service make this hotel the number 1 in Icmeler, and we can see why, keep up the good work and we will be back next year.

Just returned from a week's holiday here and what a truly amazing holiday, made extra special by our stay at Aqua Hotel.
Arrival and Reception. We arrived after travelling through the night at 4.30am. Our bags were taken from the bus by such a cheerful young man and guided us to reception. Checking was straightforward and easy and we were asked if we were hungry. We were given a cold buffet ticket and given a choice as to go there straight away or go to the rooms first. The buffet wasn't all to our liking but probably more down to tiredness, so we ate and had a drink before having a couple of hours sleep.
The Rooms Our rooms were well prepared, clean and good info provided in what and where to go. The beds were comfy, and a free mini bar which was restocked each day. The room was made up at different times each day which may bother some people. Housekeeping lady was amazing as are all the staff, she couldn't do enough for us and happy to help.
Pool / Sunbeds Well what can I say, I've seen online the sunbed wars, but didn't really think it actually happens. It does! When we arrived, sat eating our cold buffet snack, we saw a lady bringing towels down at 4.45am! It was still dark, but she reserved at least 8 beds. Most pool sun beds are reserved before 8am, the life guard does his best to help find the odd spare one and some people reserve them and you didn't see them all day until late afternoon when they stayed for an hour. The beach on the other hand there are plenty, and only 50 meters away. The beach has a blue flag rating and is cleared of rubbish regularly, and both areas no glass is allowed so drinks are served in plastic glasses.
Food / restaurants There's plenty of places to each, food is varied and appeals to all pallets. Staff were attentive, very polite and made sure everyone's glasses stayed topped up.
Out and about. We booked one trip to the mud baths and turtle beach, wow what a packed day. Our trip was through Tui but there are many street vendors seeking the same sorts of things. Again like every thing, the guide knew his info, Food was well organised and tasty. The town was probably the friendliest I've been to. Everywhere we went, we were asked to eat, buy, or just browse but we never felt pressured or pestered. I felt quite safe walking around on my own but obviously common sense needs to be practiced.
Entertainment / Staff These guys and girls were brilliant at Aqua, the twins were characters and were great with the younger guests as well as the adults. A true asset to the hotel as are all the staff.
Over all Aqua Hotel is amazing and one we will definitely want to revisit, and stay longer. Thank you for helping us are great memories.

We have just returned from a 7 day holiday (2 adults) and could not fault the hotel or the staff. On arrival after a long day (due to a delay from the airline) we were greeted at the foyer and our luggage was swiftly transferred to our room, whilst we were offered fresh orange juice. The reception staff were pleasant and greeted us really well. We then went to the bar in the lobby and the bar team were excellent (table service) where we met family.
On entering the room it was spotless and the air conditioning was on and the room was a perfect temperature. The added slippers in the wardrobe were a lovely gesture. The room was spacious and the fridge was stocked with bottled water and other items. We had tea and coffee making facilities and a safe in the room too. The balcony was an ok size and we had a lovely view of the pool and a side sea view with comfortable beds. If we needed any extra pillows all we needed to do was contact the reception team and they would send them up for us.
Breakfast the next morning was enjoyable, freshly made omelettes and tea/coffee with water and orange juice, the waiter Zafer (I hope I spelt is name right) who served us everyday for our stay was amazing, The other choice of food was varied, both continental and Turkish food available including fresh fruit.
Towels are available from the Spa and these can be changed everyday. I had a treatment and it was extremely good value for money, I would recommend this. George the lifeguard was wonderful, he kept the pool area clean and tidy and also took the time to speak with the holiday makers.
Lunch time had a variety of food to choose from in the main restaurant. There are 2 outdoor bars and the food is made fresh to order, and also a woman who made fresh Flat breads whilst you waited!
The bar staff were very attentive, Isaac was superb and even served drinks at the pool side in plastic glasses through the day. Whilst Seenam, Hysal and Gengas were wonderful of a night. After the first day we didn't have to ask for a drink, when we sat at the table they served us quickly with our drink.
A special thanks to the Rainbow entertainment team. Mally the manager and his team always ensured the holiday makers were asked if they wished to be involved in any of the activities. We played darts, botcha and air soft shooting. The certificates they gave of a night to the winners were a lovely gesture. The activities they had in the pool were enjoyable to watch and I even participated in one of them! The bingo and lotto (extra cost) went well with everybody, the evening entertainment was excellent.
We have enjoyed it that much we have transferred our other booked holidays to return to the Aqua twice next year. which we are both looking forward to.
This is a well managed hotel and it has been a pleasure to stay here. Every member of the team do an excellent job.

We stayed to the new top floor in a two-room apartment with 2 balconies number 526, individual air conditioning in both rooms, TV in both rooms, internet worked flawlessly, cleaning is done every day. After four holidays to this hotel in the last five years we concluded that employees are their strong point. Fantastic employees, so friendly and thoughtful. It is reassuring when you return to this hotel and review employees from previous years. Good variety of food and drinks, waffle and ice cream bar excellent, nice entertainment program.

We have visited many Hotels in Turkey over many years and this has been the most friendliest ever. staff in every area of the Hotel can not do enough for you, the food was delicious and served to a high standard in a difficult time of COVID . Having visited Turkey/Marmaris multiple times I am familiar with the area however this hotel is the best hotel you could stay at. The biggest asset to the hotel is the staff. Every single member of staff across a range of areas is friendly, welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best holiday. The service from the bar and restaurant staff is the best we have ever received. Very attentive and always available. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with everything you could need. The facilities are excellent, particularly the beach where there is a friendly lifeguard maintaining the area. Booking all inclusive there is always a worry if you will like the food however this is not a problem at hotel aqua. There were a range of delicious foods of different cuisines and styles so even the fussiest of eaters had options. I would especially recommend the snack bar. We actually found there were too many options and have probably put on a good stone in weight! The location of the hotel is perfect for taking a walk along the coast to Marmaris or exploring Içmeler. The entertainment staff are brilliant. We took part in morning yoga each day and several of the other free activities the hotel had to offer. Additionally the evening entertainment was great for both adults and children. We will certainly be booking to come again.

The staff and the food are the star attractions of this hotel. The dining experience was a delight with an excellent range of food available to match European tastes. The food was supported with outstanding waiting staff, the best we have seen in any hotel, they had the correct amount of banter matched to top quality service. We did not need to go to the a la carte restaurant. We also had a special meal with "throne" for my wife's birthday. The range of drinks and snacks was also very acceptable. All areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly clean although the image at the front of the hotel is weak. Our bedroom was very large with a huge double and a single bed. Sadly we had requested a quiet room but our room (344) turned out to be the noisiest room in the hotel being located above the stage where all the evening entertainment took place. The bedroom cleaner (Meral) was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed her towel designs each day. On our last day we purchased another room (451) which we would have preferred. We also availed of the services of the hairdresser, store, jewellery store and spa which again were all excellent and provided all we required for a wonderful stay. We did not use the sunbeds at poolside as we felt they were too tight together plus many were booked during the prior evening, something we thoroughly detest. The Aqua beach is an excellent option with room to turn the beds to follow the sun, the sea was a delight and we had drinks offered mid morning and afternoon. Sadly we are unsure if Icmeler is the resort for us, it requires better quality shopping and other attractions but we would be very happy to return to the Aqua Hotel. On average we have 6 holidays per year staying usually at 5* hotels and we found the Aqua Hotel to be one of the most enjoyable experiences mainly due to the excellent staff.

We stayed at Aqua Hotel to celebrate my Birthday and had a mini break. We arrived to a very friendly front desk and welcoming drinks on completion of paperwork (COVID ) etc we was shown to our room which was all sterile and had amazing views from the balcony.We went for lunch and was greeted by the most friendliest and efficient staff and was amazed with the presentation of the quality of food all served by the staff behind screens. A walk around the pool /beach was so well kept and well staffed in all areas (treated like VIPs) greeted by Mehmet Ali and his entertainment team who made us feel very very welcome and got us involved with most activities to make our 5day stay memorable. My Husband went to guest relations to arrange my birthday into the Al carte restaurant but Sule Gunay had already got this planned and on the evening I felt like the Queen the food was out of this world and presented with a cake and sang to by the staff. Thank you so much for that all. 5 days there was Fantastic and Mr Ahmet restaurant manager you must be very proud of your staff for making the guests want for nothing anytime day or night. WELL DONE ALL at Aqua for making our stay perfect and hope to see you again soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aqua Hotel tremendously.
Attentive staff that does it upmost to give you an unforgettable holiday. Employees like Taifun, Ahmet, Muhammet and all their colleagues are very kind, recognize you the second time they see you and even notice your absence when you have been away for a day trip.
The entertainment program is divers and the team is passionate and dedicated to give young and old a good time.
Large variety in food and abundant buffets. Clean beach with free sunbeds and the beach supervisor Sükrun will organise your trips to Marmaris or activities like jetski.
We loved every minute, the one thing that did not meet our expectations was het a la carte diner that was included. The food served was quite tasteless. But this was no problems since the buffets were still open and Taifun was there to provide us with the drinks we wanted!
