Was a great trip. We arrived on 17.05.22 for 4 days, from the beginning reception (girl and a boy - sorry I don’t know the names) helped a lot with a room and everything we needed, the room, the food in the restaurant are great! And thank you very much for the team of housekeeping ladies for the careful and comfort everyday cleaning, thanks to Azra, Aynur & Melek (hope I wrote the names right) Rooms: 616, 716
We were on our journey from the west coast of Turkey to the east coast and decided to make a short stop in Afyon (Afyonkarahisar). We did not know what to expect and were therefor overwhelmed by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. Our company organized a motivational trip for its personnel. we were biased. we didn't think the hotel would be high quality. but we were very surprised. staff, service, quality I give 10 points to all. I would like to thank Ms. Tülay and Ms. Gübra especially for their care of the 4th floor. They clean and take care of great rooms. Thank you very much for their smiling face :)))
Walked in without reservation,Check in was smooth (COVID-19 bar code no is required) and staff were helpful lobby huge in size with plenty of seating,Spa area with swimming pools both in/out door access, coffee and access to children’s area in addition access to shopping arcade all from ground floor plus direct access elevator to SPA on each floor. Room was good in size and layout and comfortable beds and clean with all good amenities coffee/tea and free bottled water, bathroom was adequate in size with good amenities.Breakfast spread and quality was excellent and staff were both helpful and friendly. This was the first thermal hotel established in Afyon and this explains that they have refined over time their attention to detail. We visited the two other quality hotels in town and opted for this one because the decoration was by far the best and the outside pool area the nicest. We appreciated the spa treatments and the 36 degree and 42 degree pools which left us renewed. The service was outstanding and we soon realized that it is because both the General Manager Mr. Gümüshan and his assistant Mr. Kirimlioglu are "hands on" the job and supervising every detail. We had only planned to stay for one night and ended up staying three. I will return next winter for more spa treatments because Afyon is a charming old town with plenty of heritage. By the way if you are interested in marble, Afyon is the capital of marble and it is worth visiting the factories.…
Ikbal Hotel is the best hotel in the city of Afyon Karaheisar without a dispute, the staff is very friendly and the reception is excellent, especially speaking. The employee Hande Arsoy was very friendly in her dealings together. Very thankful Ikbal Hotel and good luck
Tanks Yeliz Merve Good worker Two wonderful girls provided us with great services thanks to them and all the hotel staff we stayed 11 nights and it was very special The place is quiet and comfortable, swimming pools and sauna and also close to the open market filled with all brands and high-end shops It was a wonderful stay and will definitely go back here again
Although ikbal is a very famous brand in Turkey, their hotel is diapointing. Thermal area has wind blowing. In restaurants you cannot take water to rooms so that you have to buy additional ones. Ikbal restaurants favourite desert “ekmek kadayıfı” was served in 1cmx1cm dish which is also not in good taste. Very poor open buffet. The most important is that our room , which was a non smoking room, has a very dense smoke smell .
The Hotel was generally older then my expectation. bathroom amenities were very poor. Towels were old. Some foods were finished in buffet but they refused to replace. And I noticed a sign in the restaurant written that please use small plate.. How it can be ? So over all hotel was poor.
We spent a night in this hotel. This a nice new hotel with large rooms. But we had to face poor service and staff who doesn’t speak english. Air conditioning was not working and it took 2 calla and quite a bit of time to get it fixed. Surprisingly, this hotel has a very strict no alcoholic beverage policy. They do not sell it and even if you buy it outside you cannot drink it in the hotel except in your room. This goes further than Turkish laws. So if you like a cold beer at the bar you should find a different place. This hotel is not really suitable for foreigners.
