As we walked the Camino de Santiago we were in need of a nice hotel. We arrived with no reservation and were lucky they had a room available. It was nice and clean and we even had laundry cleaned. The customer service was excellent and they even gave us recommendations for other hotels along the way.

We absolutely recommend this hotel! They welcomed us extremely warmly! The hotel staff was on top of everything - they even knew our first names (like in 5 stars hotels) Breakfast was amazing! If you happen to pass by Palas de Rei, you must stay there!

Very clean, very good sleep and outstanding service. But the most important is the friendship of the people mainly from the owners Pilar and Paco. I really enjoyed and I recommend that place to whowever is around.

I stayed here while walking the Camino. The town itself has little to interest the passing traveller but this hotel was a fantastic place to hole up - modern facilities and a high degree of comfort. The staff were particularly warm, friendly and informative and made me feel very welcome. I'd definitely stay here again

This was the most fantastic place in terms of service and genuine care for our wellbeing. The first thing that comes to mind when you see the hotel "employees" work is that they must own this place, as you can see it in their demeanor. And they do. The two persons who catered to us were the owners, both wonderful...

Would strongly recommend based on the fantastically friendly and helpful women on the reception. We came in from a rainy day on the Camino and felt warm and welcomed in an instant. They went through all the sights and eateries and rushed to get us an umbrella later when we were popping out. Rooms nice warm and clean. A delight...

Fantastic 2-Star hotel. Very neat, cosy and welldriven. Everthing is so clean and well taken care of. Excellent, professionel and friendly service, that make you feel very much at home. Breakfast as the usual 2-Star standard, but fresh and good quality. Highly recommendable.

By far the best hotel throughout my Camino Journey. The lady at reception was polite, courteous and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. Couldn't fault the place. Icing on the cake was the best breakfast we had all week. I wish all hotels were like this.
