Lovely hosts. Nice breakfast. Betty made a great fruit and yogurt cup that was yummy. Wish we had picked the room without the portable a/c in the middle of the room but we would stay at the inn on a return visit. We walked to many restaurants. Parking was on the street right out front.

Thanks you for your review. We appreciate the feedback and are glad you enjoyed the stay and breakfast. We have found a better solution for A/C in "the Old Victorian" and are working to replace the in room unit. Thanks Again.

We made two very last minute reservations and they were extremely accommodating to all our needs. Extremely gracious hosts and lovely rooms and baths, all within easy walking distance of downtown. I'd absolutely stay again.

After reading the reviews, we booked our anniversary evening at Hollerstown Hill. A beautiful Victorian built in 1901 in a quiet residential area. We chose, from room tips, the Cottage Garden room. All the rooms are beautiful, this one was a tad smaller but offered a porch shaded by a big tree and a ceiling fan. Perfect for lazy reading...

The title really says it all. I didn't get to meet the hosts, but the caretaker was competent if not particularly welcoming. I had a lovely large room. Very clean and within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Better than a chain.

Thank you for your review. Sorry we missed your visit. We are glad to hear you found Hollerstown Hill B&B clean and we hope we will see you the next time you visit Frederick. It is also good the hear you were able to walk to the many restaurants in downtown Frederick. Thanks Again.

We were in town for one night to see our friend's band perform. We chose Hollerstown Hill because it was walking distance from the venue. What a great find. The establishment is adorable, and conveniently located. We stayed in the cottage room, and the sleigh bed was extremely comfortable. Our room came with a charming balcony overlooking the backyard. The...

This is a wonderful B&B just off the growing downtown area in Fredrick, MD. There is great shopping and nightlife within 5 minutes walking time from this B&B. The owners were nice and we had a great time chatting with them. The breakfast was top-notch and you won't go away hungry. All-in-all a great experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Hollerstown Hill, the pleasant alternative to the franchise hotel where the convention we were attending took place. For anyone who is tired of the sterile conformity offered by hotel chains, the same money here will make you feel like you've found a home away from home. Beautifully decorated and with a...

Our last minute reservation meant a split stay in Frederick, one night here, the next night "next door" at 10 Clarke. We appreciated both B&B's flexibility (they moved our luggage over for us during the day) and convenient location. The two are a very different style from the other. We enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of this room. Betty and...

We had a lovely night's stay at Hollerstown Hill! The owners were out of town, Monique from 10 Clarke served as our host. The house was lovely and welcoming. Yes, the decor is heavy on dolls and nick-nacks, but I think that's part of it's charm. We stayed in the Queen Anne Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. It...
