A pleasant small hotel built into the old city walls, at a great price. There is a also a great restaurant with seating in a patio out front, indoor seating, or a stunning garden patio behind the hotel (where we had dinner and breakfast. The food is traditional "venta" food, very good at very reasonable prices. The breakfast (included in the room price) is waiter served with lots of choices, far better than the usual buffet style hotel breakfasts. I had tostada con tomate y queso, really good. Finally, the service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly hotel. Nicely decorated room with simplicity and good taste. The rooms with balcony and a view over the city are especially nice. Good breakfast! Good offer and service in general terms.

My partner and I have just returned from a quick visit to the lovely ,historic city of Zafra...Having stayed in two or three other hotels in the past. We decided to stay in the Hotel Adarve as we have never stayed there before. This charming hotel has been lovingly restored by its current young owner Juan.. His eye for detail has resulted in a delightfully pretty and modern hotel but still retaining its character in this historic city. The rooms are restful , romantic and super immaculate ...The owner has also restored the adjoining bar which has a lovely terrace for breakfast or a couple of evening drinks ..The terrace garden has the scent of rosemary and a warm ambience which we enjoyed very much . Give yourself a treat and book into this charming, value for money boutique hotel , and enjoy all that the lovely town of Zafra has to offer..You won't be disappointed. Only a two star rating but deserving of a five star in my opinion .

This is a great new boutique hotel, with comfortable room and bed, although they seem to be having some teething problems with the air con, as we couldn't get it to work. There is a comfortable lounge for residents, but no facilities for food or drink, apart from a vending machine in one of the corridors. However, this wasn't a problem for us, as we took a short walk through the old town into the Plaza Grande and sat in the sun watching the world go by, drinking great coffee, with tostada y mermelada. There were no parking facilities offered with the booking, but we were able to park inside the gated area of the hotel, as it wasn't too busy. It looks as if, in the future, there will be a restaurant attached to the hotel, as the reception staff seem to come from an attached building, which looked like a restaurant, and between their lack of English and my small amount of Spanish, that was the impression I got.
