Came with my Wife to celabrate our 28th marriage anniversary. The stay was for 6 Nights. On the day we were arriving, we got a call in the Middle of the afternoon. It was from the hotel. Someone speaking in Portuguese, wich was a delight, from the Hotel, was asking us at what hour we should arrive, and if there was anything we need. First time I've had this kind of treatment, remarkable. When we arrive, there it was, Daniel ia name, giving us a warm welcome. The Hotel is Small, but so Cosy and Nice. We got our Room in the first floor. It was so clean and tidy. A gorgeous bathroom... And a spectacular balcony, with View to Mediterranium sea. No One could ask for more. The staff is so Nice. Daniel, Jordi and Claudia. Always available for anything we've asked for. We've had a couple of meals in the Hotel Restaurant. The menu isn't full of options, but the ones we've had were great. The Aiguablava beach is nearby, and if you're in for a dive, just go for it. Warm Water, with such a beautiful color. If you're for sightseing, don't miss: Begur, Pals, Cadaqués, Figueres, Calella Parafrugel, Aiguablava, Sa Tuna. On a Next trip to Costa Brava, for sure we'll come back to l'Aixart Aiguablava Hotel.

We stumbled across this place whilst frantically trying to book a last minute(ish) summer break, we knew we wanted to visit the area and l'Aixart really stood out. The place is perfect, understated and unpretentious, Catalan interior design at it its best, a subtle blend of tradition with contemporary features that aren't in your face and disappear into the environment. The bar / restaurant glass indoor space and the terrace merge very fluidly. The rooms are simple, clean with good ac and there are only 7! Located ten minute walk from 3 very different beaches it's perfectly located if you don't want to use a car. So that's the place but we all know that a good stay is about the staff too, what can I say, the hotel manager Daniel who recently took over is incredibly welcoming, friendly fluent in god knows how many languages but ultimately passionate about his job. Kean to create a unique experience for his guests. The rest of the staff are equally friendly with the barman creating stunning cocktails every night using fresh fruits from the area. A new chef has devised an excellent menu of locally sourced food, plenty of seafood dishes in there and excellent puddings. We can't recommend this place enough and hope it thrives. If you're looking for somewhere small, intimate and unique in the Begur area this is the place for you.

This small hotel is located just minutes from Begur. The rooms are modest but comfortable and clean. The common areas are beautiful. The manager Daniel was just great - helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. He helped with excursions and dinner reservations. He was great helping my young adult children understand the social scene in the area. All the staff were accommodating in every way (ie, prepared an early breakfast for a day when we had to leave before the scheduled breakfast). The on-site restaurant was just opening for the year (literally during our stay in early June) and served an excellent meal. The location is good - minutes from town, and about a 10 minute walk to a nice beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a few nights in summer and it was a real gem! The sea views (albeit a little distant) are stunning, the rooms perfect and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious as well so don't miss that.

We stayed here for two days and it was such a great experience. The room was very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the terrace had an amazing view where you were able to enjoy the sun. The breakfast was very nice (flakey croissants, delicious melon etc.) The host and personnel are extremely friendly and accommodating. They also gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. Within five minutes walk you can enjoy different beaches and coastal hikes. It is only a short drive to enjoy great restaurant options and sea villages. Definitely a recommendation for a relaxing getaway.
