Fabulous food, excellent staff. Family run Michelin star Restaurant. Ticked all the boxes. And dog friendly. Weather not on our side as rained persistently but that didn’t mar our stay. COVID did not affect this property as well staffed and capable of providing excellent service.

We had our team retreat here, arrived 22.30 still to have dinner but not one negative word or comment, just superb service and fantastic dinner (one Michelin star). Small hotel 17 rooms but very complete, lovely rooms with excellent beds. Will return.

Food was good. The hotel decor's shows improvisation and looks somewhat tired. Property up keeping needs to be revised. It does not feels like a luxury accommodation at all; not even above average. In any case average and somewhat atypical of Relais & Chateaux.

Beautifully restored old mill in the countryside outside Sigüenza that allows pets. We stayed in the premium suite which was split level but a bit dark and dingy. Be prepared this place is in the middle of nowhere (10 mins drive to Siguenza) and there is very little to do but relax and eat/drink.....that said the hotel has a lovely outdoor pool and a great restaurant, so if you want to just relax it’s ideal. They had a very strange spa policy that you could only book the spa privately as a couple for 45 Euro/hour, so you can’t just use the jacuzzi for 15 mins after the pool which I’ve never seen before in any other hotel. However, I would recommend staying a night just for the food!

Like all great places what makes the difference is the human factor. Great team and great service. The hotel itself is charming with great food, pool and all around relaxed atmosphere. A perfect getaway for hot summer days
