Chose to stay in the park and camp inside Mesa Verde. Sites were very open and close together. However there were hot showers and a great view of low mountain.This campground has good services but to use WiFi we had to sit in the laundry...More

Morefield is in Mesa Verde National Park and is very convenient to hiking trails and other points of interest. The grounds are huge and rarely full, which is rare for NP campgrounds. There is a large convenience store and gift shop on site as well...More

Yes. If you take the driving tour through the park, you'll have opportunities to view a few of the dwellings from different vantage points....along with other magnificent views.

There are only one or two dwellings that you can actually access via guided tours. We didn't do any while we were there, only observed them from different view points, but from what I could see, it wasn't a terribly... More
