Monterodiles is the perfect spot to explore the Asturian coast - and just relax and enjoy the views. In a small town with pleantyof surf, walks, and restaurants nearby, it’s a quiet stay that is well connected. The apartment is exactly as shown, comfy for a couple~ small but totally functional kitchen. The highlight is the view - and the managers Tanya and Jose. They are the most thoughtful and friendly hosts I’ve come across in my travels - seriously they go out of their way to make sure you have whatever it takes for a comfortable stay. Gracias!!

Booked an apartment at short notice through booking.com, had excellent communication from the managers at the apartment, our flight was delayed but we were able to arrange a new check in time via txt message. Excellent information given on the local area for restaurants and places to visit. We found the apartments to be very clean, exceptionally safe as gated. Car recommended. Would stay here again when visiting this very real area of Spain.

Aside from the views, very disappointing. Outdated furniture of the cheapest kind: beds, mattresses, kitchenware, towels (ragged, old and stained). The apartments lack privacy and the compound where it's located is poorly kept and dirty. Creaky plumbing made sleeping a nightmare. There is no cleaning service of the apartments and you are required to self clean before leaving (that includes taking your trash in your car and disposing of it outside of the apartment complex). Service from the hosts was also impolite and deficient (made a fuzz about two broken Ikea glasses that were replaced immediately but still wanted to charge €5 for each; Airbnb denied them the claim). Like another reviewer notes: very unprofessional hosts that try to argue their way out of their bad service. I would definitely not recommend staying at the Monterodiles apartments. Much better lodging options along beaches near by.…

No entendemos el rencor y la mala fe de esta persona al ser la segunda vez que escribe sobre nosotros, con la única intención de hacer daño. Se puede comprobar que la evaluación que hizo a través de airbnb está eliminada por ellos, ya que se dedicó a mentir y, al contrario de lo que él indica, airbnb nos pagó lo que dicha persona rompió. Copiamos la evaluación para que quede constancia de sus mentiras: "Diego ha sido el peor cliente que se ha alojado con nosotros. Tanto es así que tuvimos que pedir la mediación de airbnb. Muy prepotente desde el principio, nos exigió unas copas de vino, cuando ya tenía otras en el apartamento (las típicas con forma de balón), así como cosas extras que no había en el apartamento y que le facilitamos sin problema para que estuvieran a gusto. El día de la salida descubrimos que las habían roto y las reemplazaron por otras que no tenían nada que ver, sin avisarnos en ningún momento. Es más fuimos nosotros los que intentamos contactar con ellos, pero sin tener respuesta hasta esa misma noche y encima nos contestaron ofendidos diciéndonos que no era nada importante y que podíamos descambiarlas en la ferretería del pueblo (un pueblo de 5.000 habitantes donde no nos conocen). Para ser un afitrión de airbnb deja mucho que desear, ya que no había leído nada a cerca de cómo llegar al complejo, sitios de interés de la zona (distancia a la playa) o servicios del complejo. En cuanto a que no había servicio de limpieza, ya tendría que saberlo cuando reservó, y nosotros nunca exigimos que se limpie el apartamento (sólo pedimos lo mismo que él como anfitrión, que es mantenerlo en las mismas condiciones que estaba)". En definitiva, no entendemos el interés de tanta inquina hacia nosotros cuando desde el principio le facilitamos las cosas y le ayudamos con todo lo que nos solicitó, y en lugar de habernos comentado lo que había pasado, se ofendió y se ha dedicó a mentir sobre todo. The view from the apartment was amazing. You could see the beach and Picos de Europa at the same time. Despite the beach is in the sight range, it takes at least 20 minutes drive to get there as you have to cross the river. Our apartment was convenient for our family, however there was not enough shelves space to keep clothes. The balcony was separated from the balcony of neighbouring apartment in the way which did not guarantee intimacy. You can find a lot of good restaurants in Tazones, which is not so far from this place.

Good afternoon, thank you for your opinion about our apartments but we want to clarify some things: -The beach that you can see from the apartments, Rodiles Beach, is 20 km from there. Information that you had in your reservation through Airbnb. You have Tazones Beach and El Puntal Beach at 2km from the apartments. -You say that you had't enough space to keep clothes and it was because you were 5 people and in your reservation you were 4 people. You had reserved an appartment for 4 people and we told you the day that you arrived and your answer was that your daughter slept with you and that the appartment was perfect for your family. This is an amazing place to stay. Because of it's relaxing feel to it and the gaming room beneath it where you can play loads of board games have free wifi play table tennis and table football and it's view gazing upon a lovely beach right infront of you that I give this 5 stars. A few dusty floors but loads of places to eat and loads of things to do. I say it's a BRILLIANT PLACE🤗
