My wife and I were visiting her family in Asturias over a weekend in March. During the weekend, we spent one night at Avenida Real Hotel. We had a nice and cozy room which was well decorated. The room was very tidy and clean. My wife enjoyed the variety of tv channels that were on offer. The location is perfect for walking around the town of Villaviciosa. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast, which was served at the Cafe de Vicente --- a short walk from the hotel, was a combination of nice homemade pastries, toast and jam or toast con tomate, and coffee. We left full, happy and as it was included in the room rate it was a fantastic deal. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Villa and would recommend it to anyone else.

We had some difficulty finding the hotel and then parking, but the receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly came out and directed us to their private garage (8 euros a day). Our double room was not large but was decorated with care (although may not be to everyone's taste) with art work on the walls in the hallway and stairwell. Really enjoyed the breakfast at Vincente's cafe around the corner! Super friendly staff and great coffee. The hotel has a good location in the centre of town. A number of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.

A small hotel in lovely Villaviciosa. Had to wait a couple of minutes for the receptionist to arrive from a nearby (linked) cafe but no problem. The receptionist, Rocío, was truly helpful to us in a numbr of ways. The rooms are delightful and more than adequate in every way. Breakfast at the nearby cafe Vincente was terrific. Highly recommened, unless you can't carry your luggage up one or two flights of stairs. I will be back there in September. Rocio can recommend you a ver good and charming taxi driver, should you need one. But you'll need to understand rapid Spanish to understand him!

We stayed just one night at hotel avenida and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was modest, clean and located to restaurants, tourist info center, etc. One note, the hotel and cafe are in different areas. The hotel is actually a couple of blocks away from the cafe. To check in you have to goto the cafe first. The hotel may not have staff at the front door.
