We had a wonderful stay at this tranquil haven above the town of Almunecar. Mark and Sandra are a young ,lovely very hard working couple who own and run this B and B and fabulous restaurant! They have 3 Double Rooms and a 2 Bed Apartment . Our room had a rustic appeal, with everything you could want - small... More

We booked directly with Sandra, by email. Having spent 6 years in London, she's fluent in English -- and here, we'd thought she was English and fluent in Spanish. Our room was large, rustic and well appointed, with fridge, microwave, “kettle", kitchen sink & some dishes and utensils — with 2 fans, but no a/c. The tankless water heater is... More

Just enjoyed a lovely lunch at los laureles. Prawns to start followed by roast dinner and lemon cheesecake. Good quality food., plenty to eat and drink and good service. The bill was very reasonable and good value for money. We will return.

Always wonderful. The Friday night menu is outstanding and superb value. Mark the chef is creative and innovative and the food is always tasty and delicious. Sandra, front of house is a consummate professional. The tables are dressed in crisp white linen. On summer evenings the terrace is light and airy and surrounded with plants

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment on the 1st floor above the restaurant for 10 nights in July. This was organised through Totally Sorted Sports who are brilliant. A very comfortable apartment with lots of room for a family of four in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the beeches and resort centre. Mark and Sandra... More

Very good food and nice wine selection. We love local wine. Very nice place - nice setting and I think it's far best restaurant in Almunecar . If we will be again around we will go to restaurant again - no questions about it . Daniel

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable stay. The apartment was very comfortable with everything that we needed. Well equipoed kichen, nice big bathroom with plenty of room should you both need to use it at the same time. Indoor and ourdoor seating is supplied in case you want sunshine or shade. The pool was... Almunecar is one of those cheaper beach destinations, so, finding a stylish hotel in the area is a mission impossible. We were invited to a wedding in the area, opted for a more boutiquey option and went for Los Laureles based on other reviews. Nice things were the very pretty view from the shared balcony in front of the room... More

The best restaurant in town, no doubt about it! Sandra is a perfect host and Marc is a perfect cook!!! One of those things I look forward every year to travel to Almunecar. It's like coming home.
