The staff here were all really nice. The room was clean and pretty and the TV had an amazing number of channels. It’s next door to the passport office so convenient for that. It has a bar/restaurant but avoid that. The bartender is really nice but does not really know what goes in drinks. I had a gin tonic that ended up being a very unsweetened gin and soda. The food may just be stuff that gets microwaved. The artichoke spinach dip was revolting. But the hotel was very, very nice.
My wife and I were visiting Atlanta and had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was super friendly, from checking our bags before we could check in to the bartender who made an amazing Manhattan. Cornelius at the front desk was really nice and checked in via text to make sure we didn't need anything. Excellent room with a great bathroom and shower. Overall it was a great introduction to Atlanta "southern hospitality". The architecture and design is really cool and sets it apart from a "usual" hotel and the location downtown right next to the Marta stop is ideal.
Want to praise the entire team and encourage potential visitors to consider this hotel if you like personalized, friendly, service. I was in town to speak at a conference. The morning of the conference it was raining like cats and dogs. Thomas lent me his personal umbrella even though he may have had to go home while it was still raining. That gesture was very well received. Also, Walter and Cheri were helpful. Cheri made my check in experience great and she answered my questions. And Walter was open to chatting about the hotel's history. My room faced Peachtree and was quiet. My only issue was that I couldn't figure out how to turn off the bathroom mirror light. I closed the door each night to get the room dark.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make my check in to the hotel; due to Spirit Airlines canceling my flight. I’m aware that hotels can charge a no show fee but most are pretty good, about excusing them, if there are circumstances beyond ones control but I guess that’s not the case with this hotel. I was charged one night due to me not arriving, about $200. However I called the hotel and spoke to the front desk and the emailed the booking site, Priceline, the same night notifying both of the circumstances and cancellation. My phone call to Hotel Indigo Downtown was made at 8:51 PM, well with in normal check in times. Good service draws and influences guest as well as understanding and helping them. I’m not feeling good vibes, understanding, or helpfulness from Hotel Indigo Downtown.…
I had such a wonderful stay at the downtown Hotel Indigo. Consider this a 5-star hotel. The entire place is incredibly clean, the rooms and bathroom lighting are as good as it gets, and the bed was extremely comfortable. To top it off, all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay painless. Sweet Thomas from the front desk even gave me a piece of pizza while I was waiting for my ride. Incredible experience here and will definitely be back!
I loved everything about this hotel. Next door to Marta, quiet, super clean, very comfortable bed and pillows, nice staff. Unique and nice decor. Convenience store is around the corner for snacks etc. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Atlanta.
We were immediately greeted upon arrival at valet drop off. We arrived way before check in time, but our luggage was tagged and securely guarded on the second floor until our room was ready. I discovered that I had left extra shopping bags in my car trunk. Lauren offered to retrieve them for me. I love the customer service! Sharon and Thomas at the from desk were genuinely friendly. I neglected to get the name of the restaurant hostess but she was super attentive to our needs. She started early in the morning and was still at her post late in the day…still smiling. KJ, Rolando and Robert tended to our cocktail and culinary needs. Hotel Indigo was a big part of the success of my first experience shopping at the Atlanta Market. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for the comfortable stay!…
Traveling with a friend and have been very impressed with this hotel & staff! Sharon & Thomas were very helpful with getting us checked in, Lauren and another young man stored our luggage because we arrived a few hours before check in. After an afternoon at Market, Robert made an excellent cocktail & arranged dinner for us. KJ got us started with a great breakfast so we would have another good day at market. Our stay would have perfect had there been a fridge in the room.
Clean, contemporary rooms and amazing customer service! Walter and Thomas in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist us! Will definitely go back for another stay! The trip was great, but they made it even better!
Excellent location. Walking distance to about anything you need. Mila was super fantastic in the Drafting Table/dining area. She really lit up the room with her smile and great service. All the staff were very friendly and eager to help. I never saw one piece of garbage anywhere for two days. King was plenty of room. Comfortable bed, very clean room. Great bathroom with excellent lighting. Shower is something to look forward to. Good racks but no place to put your foot. Glass wall, no shower curtain which is eco friendly and fine with me. Large T.V. Decent light in the room. Loved the closet with open door lighting, a footstool, iron board and plenty of hangers. Keurig with adequate coffee. (Green Mnt. cups.). The bartenders were very prompt and recommended places to eat. I would recommend staying here. FYI the room doors are loud when they shut. It can't really helped it but it will jerk you out of REM from down the hall. If you have breakfast ask for Mila.…
