The room was filthy and smelled bad. The sheets were stained on both beds. There were sketchy people coming and going. I'm not high maintenance, I don't need something fancy, and I don't mind a little local color, but this place is a hell-hole. At this very moment I am begging Hotwire not to keep sending people here. Please keep looking! All the bad reviews you see are true. The good ones were written by, I assume, the owners.

This hotel is not a hotel, but rather a 1 star motel. It is dirty, under serviced, uncomfortable and the lobby is occupied by people off of the street. It had almost no amenities, my non-smoking room absolutely reeked of cigarettes, (even the free soap smelled like black mold), my room had a cracked window covered with tape everywhere, Our TV was shattered and impaled, the bathroom light didn’t work, I found a small amount of weed in my “fresh” bath towels, and the beds were so hard I woke up in pain. While Covid might have impacted their business adversely, they are still masquerading this hotel as a worthwhile downtown bargain when it isn’t up to par. It looks very close to a homeless or rehabilitation shelter. The pictures of this hotel online are not at all indicative of its current state. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful people with what resources they did have, but this hotel needs to be more forthcoming about its subpar offerings. It is a shocking experience as a tourist to arrive here in your Uber (makes you want to get back in the car).

A friend and I booked this hotel as part of a road trip we were doing, so we wanted somewhere central and did book last minute, a lot of the reviews I read said it was dated and needed renovating, which we could deal with as we were on a budget. What it didn't say is that it was filthy and needed closing! The hotel had a funny smell the minute we walked in and the elevator didn't look like it was going to make the journey to the 2nd floor. Dated is an understatement as I'm not sure what era exactly this hotel is from. Upon entering our room we were horrified! It was, without any exaggeration, disgusting! The walls were filthy, the sheets didn't look clean, we had a "balcony" but the door was so thin and wobbly it may as well not have been there, so you could hear all of the noise from the outside. We chose to gingerly close the curtain and not touch the door to hope for the best that it would last the duration of our stay! However, my bed was closest to the door with a thin sheet on and it was freezing, they had a "heating system' which just blasted out about 5 minutes worth of heat every hour if you were lucky. I didn't want to ask for a blanket because I already didn't want to sleep in the sheets that were provided so I didn't have high expectations for what they would give me, if anything at all. We didn't even want to use the bathroom through fear of catching something, there were questionable brown stains up the wall and on the shower curtain and that's just the highlights! There were no smoking signs everywhere, however due to the thin window, our neighbour was sharing his weed fumes with us, as well as shouting really loudly late at night, he definitely had other people in the room with him and it was quite intimidating as we didn't know what was going on! We couldn't even drown the noise out with the TV because that cut out on us. I have to caveat this with all of the staff that we encountered were really friendly and it was somewhat centrally located but that is all of the positive comments I have about it. It wasn't even that cheap compared to other places we stayed. I would never stay here again, it was vile!!!

Only good thing was local to attractions and covered parking across the street. Room was dirty, hallways had a foul smell. Heater Fan sounded like a diesel truck which made it difficult to sleep. The check in receptionist was polite and very helpful. Receptionist on next day talks too much complaining how the online booking sites mess up reservations all the time. Told customer trying to check he should have called her and made the reservation. This was funny because she answered the phone three times and told the callers they needed to call back because she was busy. I waited 30 minutes just to get my room key card reprogrammed. She blamed the receptionist that checked me in for only doing it for one night.

Location is central, and that's the main point about this hotel : great to be able to walk Atlanta downtown up to the Wold of Coca-cola or the Aquarium + a lot of restaurants and bars. The room's size is adequate, beds are comfortable but kinda small for 2 tall adults. Air vent is rather noisy and windows are thin : is was a cold night, so the bed close to air vent was warm, whereas the closest to the window was little cold. Otherwhile the staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking available around the hotel. The breakfast is "standard" and there was no refill ... so some customers had no bread anymore. Tables were not cleaned continuously. Furniture and amenities are globally a little outdated. Do not take the "garage parking" option : the hotel sells at 18USD, and if you pay at the garage directly it is 15USD.
