OH MY GOD. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. There was NOBODY in the lobby to check us in for 45 minutes. The lobby still has Christmas decor up from 8 months ago. EVERY INCH OF THIS HOTEL IS FILTHY. Cobwebs everywhere, holes in the wall, random drips down every corner of our room. DISGUSTING.
The location is initially was a little rough around the edges. Broken bedroom mirror, cracks in the counter top but we felt we were okay with that… however when met by a roach at the entrance of the bathroom and three more that ran across the desk and refrigerator…. We knew our stay was over. Sadly, the room was booked through a third party and we could not be reimbursed for fight to the finish with roaches.
I booked 6 rooms here for two nights for visiting musicians. First person checked in and had to move to two rooms because of cockroaches before she demanded a refund and I had to book two rooms elsewhere. Next people to check in were told they didn't have a reservation, even though the rooms were paid for. Front desk person showed no sympathy and waived us off. While in the lobby waiting other people were complaining about the state of their rooms... not cleaned or full of cockroaches.
Rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes and the installations were in bad conditions. The beds felt pretty comfortable. The hotel had a really small gym with a sauna and a pool outside, over all I don’t recommend.
I was twenty minutes before 3 and the lady at the front desk said rudely, “I don’t do checkins until 3.” There weee no charging outlets in the lobby! In fact they locked it up! The coffee maker was out of service. The room was decent. Smells smoky but the place was clean. The shower faucet was broken but worked.
A few good things were the beds were comfortable, hotel in good location and the front desk staff was very friendly but everything else about this hotel is not worth staying at. This hotel is old/dirty and needs to be totally remodeled. The cost was lower but definitely not worth it, I would spend the extra $10-$20 a night and get a nicer hotel in the area
This place is a disgrace to Choice Hotels. The outside looks very nice and is very deceiving. The lobby is okay but the rooms are outdated to say the least. The hotel is run down and looks like drugs are sold there with the manager involved. She knows exactly what is going on and partakes in the festivities. The room had 3 locks and that was interesting to say the least. Breakfast was a joke. Let’s not forget that choice members have to pay extra for a late checkout. How is that appropriate for a diamond member?? The lamps were rusted with broken and filthy curtains. Pictures are attached.
Disgusting, smelly rooms, dirty toilets and toilet seats, old rooms, roaches and bugs inside the room and even in our food. The audacity to overcharge us 4x the actual rate of usd 107. Is amazing to us. Very Unprofessional, beyond unfriendly, extremely disgusting hygiene, double bookkeeping tactics, will never recommend this hotel to anyone, hostel is even better than this horror property that calls itself a hotel. Never again.
The worst. Rooms look like they have not been updated in 100 years. Carpets are filthy, bathroom covered in mold and broken fixtures. Drapes filthy dirty. Whole place smells of smoke and whatever they are spraying to mask the odor. By far the most awful place I have stayed in. If it weren't this late and me not being comfortable looking for an alternative this late I would not stay. Awful experience!!
My partner, Levi, and I were in this hotel for four nights. On night one we were in room 420. Ironic april 20 is considered "pot day". The entire hotel smelled of pot. After spendiing the night we start to leave for a business meeting and noticed the door was not locking. We were moved to room 410. That night we were disappointed with the rooms cleanliness but returned to the hotel late and tired so we dealt with it. The next day i noticed a couple of bites on my leg. They itched terribly and I thought I had been bitten by misquotes. I didn't mention to my partner. We were busy and focused on our work. That night i was awakened my more bites and itching. I mentioned to my partner and he too had bite marks. We checked our of the room Saturday, completed our work and returned home. I continued to scratch like crazy! Looked up the possible source of my bite marks and have discovered i likely have bed bug bites! I am home and awake at 3 AM two days later. I am scratching from these bites like crazy! They seem to itch more at night. No additional bites since leaving the hotel just the same ones i received in room 410 on Thursday and Friday nights. This was the worst of our problems. In addition very night we had to returne to the front desk for new keys. Each time the desk clerk already had new keys waiting. He seemed to know there was a problem with the lock. The noise level from the interstate traffic was bery annoying. And as mentioned the smell of pot was overwhelming. In hindsight i should have listened to a young boy leaving the hotel with his family as we arrived on day one. He said "I wouldn't stay here if i were you!" I doubt this hotel will operate under the Comfort nrand for much longer! First thing tomorrow I olan to call the hotel and the country health department. In the meantime i need to get back to scratching!…
