I LOVE the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria! Our FAVORITE thing about this hotel is the shuttle service to anything within 4 miles of the hotel! JIMMY is AMAZEBALLS!!! What a gem! I wish we could take him home with us! He is a wealth of knowledge and incredibly nice!! Please keep him for a lifetime Marriott! 💕 your Seattle peeps! #JimiHendrix
The location of this hotel to Truist Park is the only reason to stay here. Rooms are dated, air conditioning is loud, no fan in the bathroom, beds are lumpy and uncomfortable, parking is extra— if there would have been time to find another hotel for our visit to ATL, we would have done so. Definitely not up to Marriott standards.
I am surprised at the reviews for this hotel. I can’t rate it average because there were too many annoyances - not really poor but definitely below average. Everyone was very friendly but it took a long time to check in - there were problems with the system and no one seemed to be able to fix it. The staff did offer me a complementary drink in the bar but as a lone female traveller it wasn’t something I took up. I had a ground floor room in the low rise section. It smelt damp and stuffy and I could not access the terrace because the patio door seemed to be locked. The air conditioning was extremely noisy and i had to turn it off at night otherwise it woke me up every 30 minutes. The rest of the room was very old and dated. The bed was OK and comfortable. I could see about 20 lanes of traffic from my window as my room was level with a huge highway interchange. Traffic was noisy. I didn’t eat at the hotel (and assumed I had a room only) but when I checked my itinerary for the next leg of my trip I noticed I was supposed to have breakfast included - shame noone told me about that. I also begrudge paying $10 / day for internet even though I had a member booking (organised by our corporate travel agent). I will be visiting Atlanta again but won’t be staying here. The shuttle service is great (when available which it wasn’t always) and the staff were all very nice.…
I recently visited for a work trip and had a fantastic stay! The hotel was clean and convenient, food in the restaurant was amazing, and service received from valet was fantastic! After returning home to Wisconsin I realized I mistakenly left my personal keys with valet. After a quick call to the hotel, Joshua the account manager quickly located my keys and made it a top priority to send them back to me as soon as possible. He followed up with superior communication until they were back in my hands. Look our Marriott, I will be trying to recruit him at my next visit!!!
I had a few little issues (early check in 9am room not ready until after 4:30PM, Room type not available even though front desk said they would selecet a great room for being late). The staff made up for this 10x. Polite, kind inquisitive, front desk, servers at rocks all of them. I am glad I returned and will return again.
I would say my experience here has to be one of the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. I would say Andrew made my time at this establishment made me feel like I was at home while away from home. He is respectful and makes you feel like you are at home. The restaurant at the hotel was the amazing the food was great and no Matter what you got it filled you up just have your fill . 10 out of 10 would recommend staying here and and eating during any visit weather it be business or pleasure.
Loved her service she was so helpful she really made my night I will definitely come back to see her again Helen was exceptional server all the tim as well they were working together the hotel was clean
I stayed here for a little over a week. I had dinner every evening. I was served by Helen Asefaw who was very nice and welcoming to serve as a waitress. I really appreciate the fact that I felt comfortable to have a nice meal in the hotel restaurant. Thank you very much. Tom
My stay at the Marriott Atlanta Northwest was pretty cool. Jimmy, Curtis, Andrew and Lava are amazing staff. They were very open, conversational and entertaining, making my stay worthwhile ❤️. I’ll definitely come back just for them and their hospitality. The only downside was that due to COVID, there’s no housekeeping which sucked because we had to ask for towels and couldn’t get our bed made. Otherwise, I enjoyed.
Driving up they only give an option for valet, even though I have prepaid for parking in my reservation. For a Marriott branded hotel, the accommodations are worn and outdated compared to the Marriott hotels I've stayed at recently. The room smelled musty, the furniture is visibly worn, the toilet has had a leak as rust stains are around the toilet base, mirrored closet doors are difficult to slide and are rusted in places. The location is near the Truist Stadium and I expected a more updated experience
