Checkin staff was friendly. Front desk was knowledgeable of downtown and helpful on finding a restaurant. Closet door was off the track, bathroom picture was broken and coming apart, hanging off the wall. Finger prints were everywhere, ie doors, windows, elevators. Some hotel staff walking around with ear buds and “ not “ work related conversations. Breakfast was way to expensive for what little was offered. Again, cleanliness was a high factor for 8am and only been open for an hr, floor, tables and chairs were dirty with crumbs everywhere. Again windows with hand prints all over.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. We had a king sized comfortable bed, a jacuzzi tub, and an okay view of the city. No breakfast but internet was okay. We were walking distance from everything we wanted to see downtown: the Coca Cola museum, the Segway tour, the Olympic park, and the aquarium. I recommend a meal at the Montana Grill. BTW valet parking is $43 a night, this was something that I didn’t hear about until we arrived.
From the smelly carpet , dingy furniture, broken appliances in room, to the stinky hallways. I can't believe I paid over 100 dollars a night and $48 dollars a night for parking and my laptop screen was the same size of the tv..which had no streaming capabilities like other Hiltons I stay in.
This hotel has the perfect location for walking to the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park, and the World of Coca-Cola! Security is excellent as well and I felt very safe staying here. On-site restaurant is good, but slow service. Make sure to get a room away from the pool deck as it’s very noisy at night. Digital key on the app was annoying as it didn’t work well when using the elevators. Indoor pool was cold and needs to be cleaned more regularly throughout the day.
Friendly staff. This was convenient to the Aquarium, the Coca-Cola Museum, other museums and parks, eateries, and near enough to the Botanic Gardens to suit us. You can walk to a variety of food options. The room was quiet. The internet access at this hotel is the fastest in two weeks of upper, middle, and lower tiers of hotels. Enough speed my cancelled teleconference class would have been impressive. The diy laundry room is on the pool floor. Phone app credit card for alerts on finishing times for your machines or bring lots of quarters. The signs say Z minutes for a quarter and you get far less. One of two lights were not working and one washer was completely unplugged. You can sit indoors in the soda lounge by the pools down the hall. The negatives beyond the dark laundry room, the bathroom had no exhaust fan so any bath fogged the bathroom and the bedroom. The room had a locker room funk because of that. We did enjoy the staff, the proximity to activities and plenty of food choices and would return.…
Stayed 2 nights. Great location within walking distance of many attractions. Room was okay - showed a lot of wear and tear. Self-parking fee ($36 a night) was a bit ridiculous given the cost of the room. Pool area was clean and nice.
The hotel was clean and convenient and the staff was nice. It was an easy walk to the convention center, restaurants, aquarium etc. My room had a lovely view of the ferris wheel. The main drawback to the hotel was noise. However, every hotel I've stayed at in that area of downtown has been noisy. This one has slightly less road noise (at least from due I was on), but there was noise and vibration from trains (the MARTA is very close by).
Super cozy bed, good size frig, view from the 7th floor was great, room super clean and check in was easy. Short walk to the convention center. Felt safe at night. Only issue was poor water pressure in the shower.
This is a clean new HGI with friendly staff and access to lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The location is incredibly convenient to Aquarium, World of Coke, College Football Hall of Fame, etc. Dos Bocas restaurant is terrific, along with lively lobby bar.
Stayed for four nights while attending a concert at the State Farm Arena. Hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk to arena and CNN. Loved the security. You had to use your room key to enter hotel and lobby along with accessing the elevator. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff at front desk very professional and helpful. Hats off to David at front desk. I highly recommend this property.
