Amazing gem of a house. Tucked in benaojan station. Close to popular senderismo routes. The house is fully equipped, exceptionally clean and well prepared with an amazing terrace, pool and bbq. Importantly pets are allowed. We took our two dogs and no issues. Thank you very much to the owners. Very helpful and attentive. Would certainly recommend and repeat.
This hotel is a real little gem and that is why we come back here twice a year if possible. Peace and quiet, no TV blaring away in the bar, comfortable rooms, delicious food, friendly efficient staff and lovely owners. We have never been disappointed with a stay here
We stayed two nights the final week of the season and found Molino del Santo to be the perfect place and location for the "countryside" portion of our Andalusia trip. Highlights are the rooms with terraces, pool area, dinner, which we enjoyed both nights and the detailed trail notes we used for hiking the surrounding countryside. The hosts and staff are adept at handling couples, large families and the groups of cyclists that book frequently and are full of smiles.
Arrived just before dark as part of a group of mountain bikers. First reactions were good, nice terrace next to stream, quick efficient check-in and nice spacious rooms. All the rooms are arranged around the pool area and everyone in the group were happy with the rooms. Restaurant was busy and food of a very high standard, service was pretty good as was the wine. Had a very good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. As the owner is British and many of the diners were also there was a bit of a weird feeling of a part of England nestling below the limestone cliffs of Benaojan but a very nice Hotel in a great location.
This was the first trip (of many I hope) that I organised for a group of Nordic Walkers. I had SO much help from Andy; the owner. His website is very comprehensive allowing prospective guests to view & hopefully reserve, the room of their choice - which is what all 18 of us did. I was fortunate to see most of the rooms during our week long visit & each was charming in its own way. Andy & Pauline manage to provide the best of Spanish with the little English touches most of us like. All rooms have terraces with views; some of the mountains, others of the gardens which are beautiful. (No ‘Faulty’ sea views here though). The pool is a good size with sun beds for those relaxing moments. Andy also offers a link to ‘101 things to do’ which is most helpful. We flew in to Malaga & had a coach transfer. The food in the Hotel is excellent prepared & served by such friendly staff - who can talk to you in English if your Spanish isn’t up to it. People travel from far & wide to eat in their restaurant. The rooms were serviced every day, were clean at all times & the beds were ‘turned down’ in the evenings. If you don’t have your own car, there is a local train to Ronda (& back) If not, taxis at the time of our visit (Oct’19) were around €25. We found the mountainous scenery stunning & surprisingly varied. I believe all 18 wish to return, some with their significant others. It really is a magical hotel.…
