My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon in early September. As it was a Wednesday, the town was a bit quiet. David and Dora were very nice and receptive and Stanley the (female) dog was busy scoping us out. Once she found out we had dog treats in the car for our dog back...

The Woodstocker is a hidden gem in a town full of other more established b&b's. Staying here reminded me of time spent with friends in England...it truly felt like a home away from home. The decor is contemporary and the rooms are newly renovated. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home....

We were keen to revisit our favourite part of America where we have always enjoyed bed and breakfast accommodation. David and Dora and the gorgeous Stanley were our hosts on this occasion as we decided to stay in Vermont having previously stayed in New Hampshire and Maine. We arrived to record temperatures on Saturday but woke up Sunday to rain,...

Wonderfully unique B & B. Warm and friendly appeal from both the owners and the building itself. Jazzy alternative to the typical flowery New England decor. The best part is the fact that it is a "green" establishment offering organic foods, toiletries and comforts. We will definitely stay at the Woodstocker Inn again!

I happened upon the "Woodstocker" on the Bikestay.com website. My husband and I were looking for a comfortable place to retreat to after riding our motorcycle through Vermont. We looked it up on TripAdvisor and and it got such great ratings we decided to book a two night stay. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was eclectic with it's...

My husband and I booked one night (a Saturday) at the Woodstocker Inn to break up our trip to visit family further north in Vermont. First of all, unlike some other local establishments, the Woodstocker did not require a 2-night minimum, so that made a big difference to us. The booking process was friendly and easy - I had found...

Most definitely excellent. We had travelled from UK and were half way through our tour of New England. The Woodstocker was just what we needed for a good old relax (and bit of English gossip and chat) half way through. We sampled the best tea and coffee we had the whole trip....hooray, at last people in the States who realise...

The Woodstocker Inn is first rate. We were very happy to be able to stay here while we attended a family wedding. The decor, philosophy (green, slow food), comfort, food and hospitality are stellar. This is among our very favorite places to stay (our other favorites are the Wauwinet in Nantucket, and the Eliot Hotel in Boston).

We stayed for two nights in this inn with modern and funky touches in a renovated historic building. The innkeepers couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, even to the detail of obtaining a special food request. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade fruit compote. We would definitely return. The town was also very worthwhile.

We had a wonderful stay at the Woodstocker Inn. The owners (who were friendly and accommodating) recently moved from England to Vermont and in the move, brought many English traditions with them. Unlike most B & B's, they serve breakfasts made-to-order offering up "The Full Monty" that included eggs, beans, sausage, ham and cooked tomatoes. Delicious! Also, there was an...
