Such a lovely house and gardens/ pools, fully equipped, great views of gibralter in the distance across the ocean and the mountains, very helpful staff, very clean, spacious and modern, close to the beach and shops etc but you will need a car, the only down side was the hot tub wasn’t very warm but if the weather was warmer this wouldn’t bother us, over all fantastic value and will definitely be returning, oh yeah, and fantastic wifi and aircon. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay Butch and caz x

This is our second time here and the accommodation is to a very high standard. The apartments are huge and are more like villas. We had 2 x 3 beds to accommodate 9 people. A car is a must here due to location and is in easy reach of Marbella and Estepona. The restaurant is also very good and all of it great value. Highly recommended!!

This is our second time here. The townhouse suits our needs just fine and is well equipped and clean. We ate at the restaurant every evening and were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff during our stay. There are 3 pools, tennis courts and multi sports pitch as well as a mini gym and pool table so our teenagers had lots to keep them occupied. We had a car this time which we needed even to get to local shops.

We had a five night stay 11-16 October. Reception staff very helpful upon arrival and when you’re asking about the area, directions etc. We only ate at the restaurant onsite on one evening but the food was lovely and the staff were also very friendly. You will definitely need a car if you are staying here as it is in a very hilly area. Lovely setting by Golf course, it was noisy however if you stayed at apartments during the day due to nearby construction work, which there was a lot of but this is out of their control, but worth mentioning if you think it will be very quite and peaceful. The Townhouse was lovely inside, very clean with Decent size rooms, with a good quality kitchen. The exterior of the building was completely different story. It paint peeling off the walls in many places, black mould along bottoms of the walls. All 3 of the Terracotta terraces needed a good clean and sweep, we found toenail clippings on one terrace. Air conditioning units on our top terrace were extremely noisy when turning on, literally made you jump and woke us up a lot at night time. This didn’t affect our holiday as such but it just let down the rest of the property which was so nice. To be totally honest though the only thing that would really put us off coming back again was the condition of the Hot Tub. Firstly they are very old, they had no way of adjusting temperature all the dials were missing or broken you just had on/off and variable adjustment for the jets. The cover had seen much better days as well. Upon arrival it had a scum marks all around the top edges. Before use, we had to wipe this all down/off with antibacterial wipes. There was also lots of grit in the bottom of the tub. As this was our first day we decided to clean it up as best we could ourselves so we could use it. We always had a shower after use as you just didn’t feel clean after coming out. On the 3rd day we asked them to clean the hot tub. When we arrived back after a day out I had to ring reception to see if it had been done as all the scum was back and the large amount of grit was still sitting in the bottom. They said it had been cleaned, but I told them it definitely had not. It seems the maintenance guy must have just added some kind of chemical to the hot tub which causes vast amounts of yellow scum but he didn’t bother to clean it out or wipe any of it down as it was still dirty and dusty as it always was, with yellow scum bubbles everywhere. In the UK we’ve stayed in several places with hot tubs. They are always checked on a daily basis for cleanliness and chemical content etc. This does not happen at all here. After this we were not able to use the hot tub as we would have been covered in yellow scum. Overall we enjoyed our break here as it is a lovely place to stay, friendly staff, nice setting etc, it’s just seriously let down by the hot tubs and the lack of maintenance to the exterior of the townhouses. I would have given a 5 star rating otherwise. It would be expensive to do it but they need to replace the ageing hot tubs or at least have them professionally refurbished and then cleaned and checked on a daily basis as in the UK.

We have just returned from a Penthouse suite which are great for families 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. However my daughter had a terrible time, with respiratory issues, constant coughing, sneezing, running nose etc when in the property. we noticed that the air con had black mold and was leaking. As she was only ill when in the apartment we could only link it to this. We complained twice to the Reception and were told it would be checked, I also stated my daughter was suffering and we were sure this was the reason. No one came and it was not sorted, So we had to stop using it which meant we were too hot to sleep. Apart from this, it was a great little place, very clean throughout. It is very remote, No supermarkets on site, they are approx a 25 min walk, with the walk back being a big work out up a steep mountain in the hot weather. Taxis in the area only sit 4 so as a couple with three children this was an issue, we got a taxi to the beach which is about a 7 min drive it was 20 euros per taxi, then we though we would just walk back, but again the kids were too hot and exhausted to tackle the long walk up the steep mountain, It really is a difficult walk and I am quite fit. So another taxi was needed bringing the taxi amount to 80 euros which is ridiculous. unless we were ripped off or called an expensive firm. We paid for the most expensive accommodation which had ZERO internet ever. We were promised wifi but it would never work. SO with three kids wanting internet you can imagine the arguments. The public pool was the only area to get internet, so to check in to flights we even had to go and sit round the pool trying to hold a good connection to check-in to ryan air. The apartment is a great size and have everything we needed, a washer/dryer although the kettle and toaster were very cheap travel items as was the high dryer, so make sure to bring a hair dryer. The beds were very un-comfy so I found myself sleeping on the sofa, but that could just be because we are used to memory foam beds and these were very firm. We were provided one very used pillow each, so I had to request new extra pillows. Our penthouse was very private but I noticed some of the townhouses were the total opposite. The roof top pool is through a separate entrance to the penthouse which was difficult as my young son needed supervising so we had to come out of the entrapment and up some separate stairs to the roof. I would have liked more for the kids to do, there are tennis courts but you have to pay by the hour 12 euros and they are locked so you cannot just take the kids in if you have your own rackets. No inflatables in the pool, No life guards are there at all, i seen one man there on the first day, but that was all we were there 11 days. There is a little shop selling drinks and sweets by the pool, but it is ALWAYS closed they said they only open when the pool is full which it never was. Once it opened and cost about 20 euros for 4 soft drinks and a lolly each for the kids, we had a drink in the restaurant bar for the five of us and a ice cream for my son that was £32 . Which I though was expensive. You Must get a hire car otherwise you will have a long expensive holiday. We paid 300 euros no deposit and visited Marbella, Puerto Beanus seeing the towie lot, Gibralter, Malaga, Benahavis, visited sme gorgeous palm tree beaches. A meal for 5 with soft drink cost no less the 90 euros each time where ever we went. Enjoy it is a very clean resort, the views are absolutely beautiful, the staff are friendly we did have some issues but also had a very beautiful holiday.
