There are only a few places to stay in El Chorro, and La Garganta seems far above the rest, from outward appearances. Our room overlooking the lake was all right, with the bedroom and bath up a narrow spiral stair from the entry level (which was 2 flights above ground level). Great views. It was nice to open the windows...

Spent one night with family as we were going to do the Camino Del rey On Sunday Morning. Staff at the hotel were very helpful .Wonderful view, nice food worth the drive to El Chorro. Food at the restaurant was nice but not wow.The hotel is right by the train station so very handy if you are using the train...

This hotel/restaurant is a mixed bag. Some aspects are nice, others are disappointing or just plain odd. The location is fantastic and if you're doing Caminito Del Rey, you'll be happy you booked here. And when folks say it's close to the train station ... you could stand in the hotel entryway and throw a tennis ball onto the tracks....

We travelled as a family and stayed in an upstairs suite, adequate with small kitchen. The hotel is at the end of the walk - perfect as the bus to the start is regular and empty at this time of day. When we walked back it was amusing watching the jostling queue for the return journey as we sat and...

There is a amazing hotel to stay if you decide to walk "El Caminito del Rey". You can find this hotel just in the end of the walk, so close. The facilities are so confortables and have all the details you can imagine. We stayed in a suit room for a very reasonable price. We also took the dinner there...

We stayed in this Hotel and restaurant to provide an overnight base for doing the Caminito Del Rey gorge walk (a dream in its oen right,if you have a good head for heights). The hotel has spectacular views of the gorge and provides stunning sunset scenes. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and good nights sleep in comfortable spacious rooms.

Please note that I can only give my review on the outside restaurant of the hotel Situated on the cliff top, this is a fabulous place to stop for a break and enjoy the glorious views of the Gorge of the Gaitanes. As our time was limited, we had a fantastic milk shake with cream topping which was huge and...

Spent three days here and what a great three days they were, a veteran relaxed atmosphere and the staff really went out of their way to help, the rooms are nice in a quirky kinda way, we had a room with a steep spiral staircase, it's a good job I'm quite able, the views are beautiful and the food is...

A good hotel with a big parking lot (inside or outside the hotel) When you come from the east you have to take very small roads in the mini towns. Do this by daylight. The road is winding very much and the slopes are steep. We leaved the hotel fromthe west side and only the first km was not so...

Wondwrful view, nice food worth the drive into nowhere on a small dwindling road. Friendly receptionist receiving us and arranging picnic bags as a replacement for breakfast due to early departure. We tried both a mest and a fish dish in the restaurant and both were to our satisfaction

Our resort is located in one of the most impressive places in Malaga - el desfiladero de los Gaitanes (Gaitanes Gorge). The resort has been built over an old wheat flour factory from early Twentieth century. Restoration works began back in 1978, and the resort is still undergoing development in order to meet our clients' demands.
