We arrived at hostel serena where we waited at the reception and rang the bell, but nobody came. When we called, we heared the hostel was overbooked. We received two rooms in another pension. At first there were some problems as we reserved half board and this is not available here. But this problem was fixed after asking about it...

Hotel was quiet and good, room clean and simple and view from the balcony on surrounding mountains was taking breath away.. Owners were really nice and helpful, they recommended very tasty restaurant with local food, 10 minutes away by car. As I was staying there with a group of friends they prepared for us a local speciality- BBQ lamb with...

We went there in December for a long weekend with my wife and my 1 year old daughter (Thursday to Monday). From the moment that we arrived until we left we were pampered like never before. Traveling with an infant is challenging, however Ovidiu, the owner and in the same time the manager, and his staff made us feel like...

We arrived at Serena with high hopes seeing the pictures with the flowers, sun and the green lawn, but: the owner didn't even welcome us at arrival; he said you can order food but did not mentioned 2 or 3 dishes and if our kids had common demand like fish, pizza or cakes, not a chance; also the owners attitude...

We were at Casa Serena with our parents to celebrate our mothers anniversaries, so we occupied 3 double rooms for 2 nights. I found this place by fortune, searching for a quiet and nice place where to feel good and enjoy at a maximum level these moments. I was willing that everything to be perfect, so I spoke for several...

We stayed at the Pensiunea Casa Serena in February this year. Prior to booking, I made contact with the Manager, Ovidiu, who couldn't have been more helpful, he was polite, helpful, prompt with reply and made us feel welcome even before we arrived! Pension is situated apart from central road, so it’s a quiet, good place. It’s a perfect place...

We stayed with family between Christmas and New Year. I highly recommend the food - take the grilled trout. It is very clean and you have easy access to Bran center and castle. Rooms 2, 4, 6 are not under the ping pong room, so you are not bothered by other guests. Also, wifi is stronger in rooms 1,2,3,4. The...

We stayed at Casa Serena in Bran between 15.07 - 22.07.2012. It was exactly what we needed: peace and quiet, nature, good food, very nice people, parking facility and games for the children in the big courtyard. The pension is not far from the Bran Castle and the shops (~1,5 km). We highly recommend it for families or groups of...
