If you want a place in the "country" for fresh air, peace and quiet (except for sounds of birds, sheep, clopping of horses), amizadil house is perfect. It is not luxury accommodation but it is comfortable with all the modern conveniences except tv and internet....More
Its a very nice and calming place away from the town, its the best place to relax and sleep in. The only noises that can be heard are birds and Biggy the dog. Adela makes very healthy and tasty food and Teo is an expert...More

Hello, I was wondering if the accomodation is available over the Christmas period this year, 5-6 nights and how much will cost for 4 people, one adult and 3 children?
Would we be able to see Christmas traditions in Maramures and take part to the celebration of the festive season please?

I suggest you e-mail Teo and Adela who own this property. When we left in August they were not operating over the winter period as the house they currently have guests stay in is not properly insulated for the bad weather. However, they are renovating another house opposite but doubt this will be ready in time. Maramures is pretty remote and I think it would probably be quite tricky to stay there over the winter in case there is heavy snow.
