Nice hotel and very helpful staff. Our room was clean all the times. Don't know about the bad reviews about this hotel, perhaps some people were unlucky. Food was ok little bit repetitive some days. Wifi was good and we were able to use Facebook at all the times. Roof top pool gets busy early in the morning about 8am so...

The hotel takes all sorts of guests, families, couples, lone travellers etc.... in different age groups - so there was a wide range of different guests. Unfortunately at times the groups did not mix well. One evening a drunk guest complained that children were dancing on the dance floor and the hotel manager spoke to some of the parent and...

Stayed at the Soreda for 4 days in May. It is exactly what you would expect at this price range, nothing outstanding but nothing awful either just an average tourist class hotel. The main let down really was its position, in a back street surrounded by some pretty tacky ( British ) pubs.

I have just returned from my ninth visit to The Soreda and I haven't read any other recent reports. In my view this hotel gives excellent value for money. The rooms I have stayed in have been large, especially for a solo visit, and were kept spotlessly clean as were the areas around the room. In fact the whole hotel...

Hotel is only about 30 mins drive from the airport (costs about £28 return in a taxi but buses are also available). Although the hotel does not benefit from ocean views, it is in a much quieter location surrounded by private houses and appartments not to everybodys taste. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made every effort to make our...

Currently staying at the Soreda and cannot believe some of the negative comments posted recently. The rooms are large and clean with comfy beds and the Flat screen TV's have plenty of channels including BBC world and Eurosport.Wi-Fi is a bit hit and miss but adequate. Meals are pretty good with reasonable choices. Why they serve either bacon or sausages and...

General upkeep of the hotel was poor.Rooftop swimming pools cluttered and the views from the roof were shoddy unless you focussed on afar and imagined the rest.Local streets in poor state of upkeep and lots of washing to feast your eyes on.Relatively short walk to the beach-front and connections to Valetta were adequate. I stayed full-board and now regret it.I...

This was our first trip to Malta and we were looking forward to enjoying it. First impressions of the Hotel was 'looks like a nice place' how wrong can you be. After booking in, we were shown to our room... and this was NOT in the main hotel, but across the road in a block of flats...we were shown to...
