We just returned from a week at the Qawra Palace. It is situated right on the coast and near to the town of Buggiba which is beautiful. We had a lovely holiday, however we do feel that the hotel could do with an overhaul. The foyer and dining room were very nicely decorated but the rooms themselves were somewhat tired....

Just got back. Should of been a 4 star hotel but I've stayed in better 2 star. For starters the room was in need of maintenance, the bathroom was held together with mastic and tape in areas. The mattresses need replacing as springs were broken and poking through the material. Then the food. We were all inclusive. Breakfast ok, snack...

Most of the staff were extremely helpful and quick to help. Hotel is dated and the rooms smelt damp when you walked in, damp patches on walls and mould surrounding the aircon unit. Food was plenty full and considering the amount of people, hot food. Being vegi not a lot of choice, but there are menus put up every night...

The hotel is large, clean and a friendly place to stay. The rooms are ok - some need updating, our bathroom had been refurbished. The balcony was incredibly small. The maids work hard to keep the hotel clean. The meals are very good. Breakfast is excellent, both continental, cereals, toast and full English. Dinners are good too - there is...

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days in August 2015. The hotel is situated near the beach, so the location is nice, with restaurants nearby; though a bit far from Buggiba center. The room which we got was in pretty bad condition: rusty bathtub and AC rail, spotted ceiling. After complain we received a better room wich was recently...

Hotel does need it's planned refurbishment in November, everything a bit dated. Lifts need better maintenance as we got stuck and had to climb out. Not good for my wife as had asthma attack in lift. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner lacked choice. Apart from this hotel was nice and bar and restaurant staff were friendly. Would stay...

This hotel was chosen as the location to hold a family celebration. First impressions were good, on the seafront and the weather was lovely. Inside the hotel staff and the age/condition of hotel were not as good. The hotel is tired, drab, dark and the staff unhelpful. I found it unhelpful that some amenities were closed as it was April,...

The hotel was good value for money. The normal riff raff goes on, i.e a local man singing Abba all night, every night as part of the hotel entertainment, However this does suit some people but not me (being 25). I would suggest going here if you have a family as the facilities are very much for parents and children....

Me and my fiancee visited on 11/08/15 for one week, the room was ok, we were facing the court yard but the room was sound proof and we slept like lambs. The cleaners were exceptional and cleaned the room to a high standard every day. The breakfast was amazing with loads to chose from. The lunches and dinners were very...

In need of a refurbishment. Found the staff quite rude. Coffee shop attached to the hotel was the best place for food with pleasant staff. Pool was lovely, entertainment good. Not worth 4*. Ideal position for sea.
