We have been staying at the Museum District B&B for many years now and are always delighted with the hospitality, accommodations, and locale. Recently we spent a week in the Judge Rhea suite and were delighted. All of the rooms provide unique facilities and the breakfast and wine & cheese hour are top notch. Anna is an excellent resource for... More

We recently spent three nights here, on our way back from Williamsburg. We stayed in the carriage house, which is a small separate building just off the back of the main house. The whole experience was delightful. The room was pleasant and comfortable. It was private, but still easy to mingle with folks in the main house when we wanted... More

We have visited a lot of B&Bs, but I've never hoped to return to one before we even left -- until we stayed at the Museum District Bed & Breakfast. Our visit was brief but gave us such a good impression; we truly hope we'll be able to stay for multiple nights next time like the other four guests at... More

My friend is getting married and was looking for a property for her guests to stay while in town. We wanted to see the B&B and we were greeted very inhospitably by Anna the owner. She told us that we would have to visit the website to see the property. I would not recommend this B&B if this is how... More

These two young women rang the bell in the evening -- I had a full house -- some of my guests had already had wine & cheese and had gone to dinner -- the later arrivals were still having wine & cheese. I think most people know that you don't "drop in" in the evening and ask to see a... More

We greatly enjoyed this B and B. It was our first time and we have already booked to go back in September. The innkeeper is wonderful, the breakfast terrific and the rooms are nice. It is in a good location; across from the wonderful Museum of Fine Arts and near the shops and restaurants on Carey Street. The streets are... More

My two sisters and I were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the house and landscaping was when we arrived. The website pictures did not do this place justice! The owner, Anna, was professional. She gave generous servings of wine and an outstanding selection of cheese during happy hour, and the breakfast she served was over the top as well. The... More

The Museum District B&B is now the B&B by which we will measure all others. The property was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming and well located. Anna was gracious and that perfect combination of friendly and discrete. From a cheery cocktail hour glass of wine with cheese with our hostess and her charming European artist friend, to comfy robes to slip on... More

We spent 3 nights in this lovely B&B. The owner Anna was very hospitable; breakfast was just wonderful - made to order bacon and eggs, yogurt and fresh berries, warm croissants and cinnamon buns, fresh squeezed orange juice, and it was all served within a 2 hour window, giving us the freedom to sleep in or head out early. Anna... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Museum District B&B, one night in the Judge Shea Suite, and two nights in the Carriage House. It was a fabulous getaway. Anna has thought of everything to make a stay at her B&B truly remarkable. The rooms are both beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and welcoming. Everything from thick, soft... More

Everything was of first class caliber quality with the exception that the individual bedroom doors have no locks. I understand the owner's prerogative on this, but I do feel that a door chain should at least be provided for night time individual security.
