This is a bed and breakfast that is a wonderful place to stay. It's a great location in Richmond's Museum District (right across the street from the VA Museum of Fine Arts).

What a great place. Anna so spoiled us only the best quality food all fresh. We so enjoyed the wine and cheese every evening with great conversation.
We had the largest room with wonderful bath & steam room. Gas fireplace.
I definitely recommend this property!

Hi! The owner, Anna, is very honest and straightforward. You can feel comfortable asking her. Still, I'll share what I remember. The Judge Rhea Suite has one bed (on the sleeping porch), and a cosy living room. The John Lane Suite is actually 3 separate bedrooms, each with one bed, that open onto the upstairs hall. Any other B&B I've stayed at would have rented them individually, not as a suite. None of the bedroom doors have locks on them. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable having my child sleeping alone in a room that opens onto a public hall. It's worth asking Anna if she has a cot or air mattress that can be set up in the Judge Shea Suite, or the John Lane Suite bedroom you are staying in.
The main living area of the house (living and dining rooms) are spacious, so no worries about bumping into things. And even though Anna has decorated the house to the "9's", it still feels comfortable and welcoming. The Carriage House, separate from the main house, is very small. It's the only place I'd advise against staying. Does that help?
