I am very sorry to write this review because we enjoyed a lot our stay in Stintino, but the Club Esse Sporting was not a 4 star as we expected. Location is nice, but not close to the beach. A shuttle is needed and has strange timetables : no runs between 10:30 and noon and no runs between 16:30 and 6pm. The rooms are nice and clean , nice pool and super nice staff. They were always attentive to our requests and the reason not to complain too much about our stay. Food is the main reason we give a 2 stars: it was tasteless and not fresh. Mostly canned meals , frozen vegetables and fish from Baltic countries (!!!!). Definitely not what you’d expect when in Italy in front of one of the most fish dense seas in the Mediterranean. A star is lost because as for the “sporting” name , there is nothing about sports here. Not even a dumbbell or court to use. They call “fitness area” a small square with few kids machines. The most frustrating thing is that the hotel is just in front of tennis and football courts which are not usable by the hotel customers. Another star is lost because Wi-Fi is practically inexistent as it Barely works only in the lobby and the pool and even 3G phone coverage is scarce in this area . In the end it was a pleasant stay but way too overpriced and weakly organised for a 4 stars hotel.…
We are extremely pleased to have chosen Roccaruja club esse sporting. The location, the facilities and most of all the people and their warmth’s made our first family summer holidays with our little boy a very special and unique memory. We were enjoying the nearby amazing beach “la pelosa” and we were spoiled everyday by eating the delicacy prepared from the chef and his Kitchen’s stuff. As parents we were also very impressed from the efficient “Biberoneria corner” where fresh and good quality prepared food was always available for our little one. It is true that some improvements can be made and one suggestion it might be, if available, that families with babies under one year should be allocated with rooms with bigger shower spaces or better safety facilities because we personally founded very difficult to bath our son without fears of slipping or falling. Having said that, we have been satisfied in every way and we look forward to returning in the near future and we would also highly recommend it to friends and family. Big Thank You to Everyone, especially to the restaurant and kitchen stuff. …
The property was very pleasant, the reception has been remodeled. Though the rooms are tired, loved the Sardinian Linen and white and blue decor. Bathrooms have been remodeled where big enough and comfortable. Rooms need new beds, the matreses are very old and uncomfortable, but because we only stayed one night it was ok. Breakfast was fairly good. Staff at restaurant only clears table when pax leave, could clear the tables of used plates while guests are eating also to have more space on the table. Wifi in the property was advertised, but only the reception had wifi. The pool itself and surroundings were really relaxing and very clean, also the lounge music fitted in very well. Parking was a plus because finding parking in front of the beach is a nightmare. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nicer beach La Pelosa. Would come back for a short stay.…
everything almost perfect, nice accomodation, great food with Sardinien specialities including bottle of local wine, good location, shuttle bus to the beach, sunbeds and umbrellas available we would recommend this hotel to stay in
A very beautifully designed and crafted space by the charming owner Vinzena. Location is perfect as it's right on the beach serving great food & drinks and Vinzena is the forever charming and perfect host. Ps...try their sister operation il Gabiano Restaurant which serves beautiful food and offers great service, again right on the beach. The anti pasta is to die for !!
