Two hours to check in and get a room. Asked for a croissant at 11:30am in the morning and was told it’s not possible cause breakfast service is over. Would have been nice if they even said, “let’s see what we can do for you”. Service overall is not great for what you’re paying. The place is beautiful and it’s a pity because they’re understaffed and generally not very helpful. If you’re looking for great service, this is NOT your place.
Long overdue praise for this very special place. Three visits; in 2016, 2017 and latest in July 2021. Always in the very spacious Family Mirtilla Suite, consisting of a large junior suite interconnected with a fairly small classic double. The sea views are spectacular, and these rooms are also very well located for the smaller beaches, pools and restaurants. This resort is all about nature! To have this kind of seaside property in southern Europe is quite rare. The resort is expansive, with many small coves to choose from, running paths between the Mediterranean shrubs along the coast, and round rocks perfect for kids to climb on. It all feels so natural and at the same time so well thought out. Also, really good food and genuine thoughtful service from every member of the staff. Thank you so much to each and every one of you, for making our holidays so memorable, and always giving our kids special attention. The location means it can sometimes be a little windy, and always a pleasant breeze. This also means the pools can get a little bit chilly. So a heated pool (other than at the spa) would be a bonus for us (but obviously no dealbreaker:-).…
I spent one week here with my partner, and what impressed me was the overall consistency in quality and service across all functions, from front of house (welcome), restaurant - where they had e.g. Denis attentive eye to ensure guests were well taken care of, the beach / restaurant always wanting to help serve their guests, and the SPA where Vittoria and Cristina would literally move mountains and shuffle diaries to accommodate their guests schedules. The treatments in the SPA were excellent, from facials to massage to the Thermal Spa outside. All therapists were top class! Never got tired of going to the SPA and seeing their wide smiles and curiosity to know how the treatment was and if they could help further
Very nice hotel along the Sardinian coast with a nice beach and great pools. It it covers a large space so it does not seem that there are a lot of people but we were in September. The restaurants are good and the service great. We had a nice spacious room
Very authentic place from the design, to the food. It has amazing private beaches, expansive facilities, and nice staff. I found I was truly able to relax here, as well as have a fun time. Thanks for this wonderful stay!
Wonderful and relaxing, lots of facilities and little coves where one can disappear to on the beach and have lots of privacy. The most excellent buffet ever with a variety of dishes for everyone. Great for couples or families. Amazing THALASSO spa well worth a visit or two.
The whole experience was simply amazing. Amazing sea, hotel, food, staff, rooms, views..I could go on and on. And words don't do it justice. You have to experience it. I have never eaten so well in my life and I am from Italy. The nature is just astounding, everywhere you look. Do yourself and favour and go there!
The location, the nature, the sea and the food were really spectacular, but what made our stay even more special was the staff. We only met competent and kind people always ready to greet or assist you with a smile and proactive approach. We’ll definitely go back soon!
The property is very large with beautiful landscape and views of the sea. The room was nice with a balcony. Unfortunately when we were brought to our room there was no walkthrough so we found out after they dropped us off the air conditioner didn’t work and there were no safe instructions. We messed around for over an hour trying to get the issues resolved. No complimentary drink or any concession for our time wasted. The beach is awesome with beautiful water and a full service bar / restaurant. We also charted a boat to the archipelago which was really nice.we used room service and it was fine. The food was average.
The location is amazing. The resort is also very beautiful and the staff is kind. There are 3 beaches, two small and a big one, the water is crystal clear. Also lots of pools and a thalasso spa. The best restaurant is the Li Ciusoni from Chicca, open sat and Thursday, be sure to reserve upon arrival. I would not recommend the Nautilus Restaurant, as at night its more chaotic because there are lots of small children runnin around. It loses one star because of 3 things: - the sand is not very well kept, should be maintained more - the food was great but we got food poisoning the last two days (from Nautilus restaurant) - the people at the reception are very confused: 1) they forgot us in santa terrsa di gallura, the nearby city, when we went for an organized trip because the reception forgot to include our names on the list (we booked 2 days prior) 2) upon arrival we booked li ciusoni restaurant. They told us to come the following day to book as it was too soon. We got back the next day to reserve and they told us “its full booked!” 3) we did a culinary experience and we called the car to get us and the car never arrived, so we had to walk home. 3) at check out they called us 2x with the sane informations Those are not terrible incidents but should be addressed in a 5 stars hotel! Overall a positive experience though and I would recommend the place. Just be sure to avoid fruits and uncooked fish! The quality/price is a bit overpriced: at the beach bars a small plain toast is 18€.…
