We found the owner and staff to be very friendly. He also has a sense of humor. We had a reservation for dinner at Ristorante da Achille. I asked him if it was close enough to walk. He took me to the front door and pointed across the street. We enjoyed a good breakfast on the patio, with all the coffee we desired. The selection was average, but good considering this is not an expensive resort. The room was large, clean and comfortable; with a very large bath and shower. Good internet. Great AC. No problem finding a place to charge phones, a laptop, and a tablet. There is free parking in the rear if you reserve ahead. If not, there is plenty of on street parking in front of the hotel. The location is great, with just a short walk to the attractions in town and near the harbor. And there is an excellent restaurant in the hotel across the street.…
The Hotel has only 13 rooms and as per its name each room is painted in a vibrant color. The garden outside is the perfect place to drink a bottle of wine in the evening or to eat breakfast early in the morning... Breakfast was plentiful with fresh cornetti, meats and coffee and cappuccinos on demand. Romina, the hotel manager, even got us some Sardinian specialties such as pane al pomodoro and lovely pastries stuffed with sheep ricotta. We felt extremely safe in the hotel and overall in the small town. The people were extremely kind and helpful. We spent 9 days in Sant'Antioco and stayed mostly on the island, enjoyng the beaches (Calasetta was our favorite) and walking through the town. Do not miss: 1. Via del Sale (salt drying ponds) with its flamingos and amazing colors. 2. The 5th Century Cathedral at the top of the town with the visit to the Catacombs 3. The beaches (all of them) 4. Pane al Pomodoro at the Calabro bakery 5. Dinner at " Achille" and at "Renzo e Rita" or Lunch at "Silvana". Ask Hotel manager or owner about an "agriturismo" where to eat locally grown and prepared meals.…
We were not sad to depart this hotel, however, the room was clean and modern. It is in a central part of town however, it is let down by its ambiance and gardens which really are badly looked after. The manageress did try hard however, it really does feel a little second class and we would not want to return.
The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are very big, colorful and spacious. The hotel is close to the port and man square, but still it is situated in a quiet and calm neighborhood. My sincere recommendations.
Somewhere under the rainbow sits Hotel I Colori...via Nazionale 89, Sant'Antioco. Chic and modern this is a full service hotel located on the edge of el Centro. I anticipate that during high season this hotel is as vibrant and alive as the colors that bedeck each room...viola, rosa, kiwi, azul...you choose your rainbow.
