Very good location for the hotel. Also very good price. Nice breakfast with a terrific views from the roof tarrace. Clean swimming pool and nice garden. This are the advantages of the Arbastar hotel. But this is the end. Service is very poor. They even didn't help us to carry our luggages. The rooms are old fashioned and little bit... More

The grounds are beautiful, especially at night, and the pool is interesting, with a shallow lip that lets a bather soak and sun at the same time. But the hotel begins to show its age, there's no help with bags, and the restaurant serves unappealing food in an environment that feels a little rushed, unlike most European eateries. You'll be... we arrived in our fiat and accidentally entered a no entry area of the hotel at which point a man walked out and came across very unfriendly, almost looking down on us that we don't know what we are doing, he was the hotel receptionist, he didn't offer to help with our luggage either and asked us to go to... Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is reasonable, although we have had much better. This Hotel's Management is profit motivated not customer service oriented! When we arrived room temperature was 31c, air conditioning off!. On checking with reception we were told it had been switched off and could not be switched on again. The Manager claimed he was unable... More

My wife and I stayed at the Arbatasar for 2 nights in late October 2013, during an unseasonably warm week, along with 46 friends on a group booking. The hotel had switched off the air conditioning a few days earlier and were either unwilling or unable to put it on again. In consequence rooms were stiflingly hot, and humid, and... More

Their advice was "Open the window". Don't come here & expect to be able to sleep. 49 unhappy travellers. Staff friendly. Insufficient food laid out for breakfast. Near port and convenient for narrow gauge railway station.

In the heart of the most beautiful scenery in the Mediterranean, the east coast of Sardinia, the hotel is an elegant oasis just steps from the port of Arbatax. The quality of hospitality is remarkable. Rooms clean and refined. Breakfast in place with lovely view and above all a really high quality restaurant (innovation and tradition, fine local products). Sardegna is expensive! Especially since we wanted a swimming pool in the hot weather of july. That's why we decided that Arbatax would be a better place for the exploration of Sardegna than Cagliari, and certainly better than the northern coast that seems to be completely unaffordable. Soon we found this hotel on the internet. The only trouble was to... More
