We have just returned from a three night stay at this delightful Inn. We were in Cambridge for a wedding and the Mary Prentiss Inn was the perfect setting for family and friends to congregate, recoup and visit. Breakfast, and happy hour were enjoyed on the large, beautifully landscaped private deck that runs behind the Inn and was also the...

Beautiful old house turned into a well kept and run Inn. The room was very comfortable and cozy and the staff very friendly and pampering. A great place for a couple. Good location and walking distance to many attractions or Metro if needed

The small hotel is nice and located not far from Harvard. The rooms are small and pretty nice, bathrooms need renovation, breakfast is tasty and reasonable. The biggest problem is accessibility, there is no elevator and guests have to use narrow stairs. The hotel needs elevator if owners want to be receptive to people with disabilities.

Love to stay in a bed and breakfast, especially when recommended by a friend. The Mary Prentiss is beautifully restored, quiet and run by helpful staff. Our room was small but lovely. Breakfast was a little slow to arrive, but simple and satisfying. Certainly demands a return visit, if only to try one of the other rooms!

Our family of three (2 adults and teenaged daughter) had a lovely stay in late June 2016, playing tourist for a few days. We stayed in Room 13, with a comfy Queen Sized bed in the loft and a pullout couch on the main floor. It was quiet, clean, airy and clean. The compact semi-kitchen was great to store and...

We stayed here last Summer while attending my niece's wedding. What a nice historic Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was attentive and helpful. And breakfast the following morning, on the outdoor patio topped off a wonderful visit to Boston.

We arrived around noon and were able to park our car a little earlier than check in time, then take the T into Boston for some sight-seeing. We never moved our car again until we checked out because public transportation was so convenient from the location of the Inn. Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy, and provided us with a...

This is a long overdue review of a well-deserving establishment where we have stayed possibly seven or eight times over the past few years...every stay has been a pleasure. I will miss the Mary Prentiss Inn, one of the high spots of our repeated trips to Cambridge. We always liked Room 7, upstairs - it just felt homey and comfortable....
