A beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is simple: the service, the breakfast, the room. If you need a quiet stay, don´t miss Harding House. Staff are nice and there is a small and beautiful garden.

We stayed at the Harding House this weekend for the third time this year! It is a gem. Why? Several reasons, in no particular order: The location - it's very easy to get to off the Mass Pike. It's a short walk to the T (red line); because of the off-street parking, you can get rid of the car and...

Thank you so much for your glowing review as well as your return visits! It speaks volumes when guests return time after time. Of course we also rely on word of mouth to keep business strong. Getting your experience out on TA and also within your circles of friends and work acquaintances is always helpful! So thank you!! Recently we...

For a brief moment, as I was making plans to visit Cambridge to see my daughter, I considered staying somewhere else. Maybe a chain hotel since I have points from previous trips around the country. Fortunately common sense prevailed and I clicked on the Harding House website. We have stayed here before and once again I was not disappointed. For...

Thank you so much for taking the time to go into such detail about Harding House! We do try to make traveling as stress free as possible by keeping the little things on hand and reminding staff to be attentive to wary travelers needs. We will look forward to your arrival on your next trip to Cambridge!

This is my second stay at Harding House. This bed and breakfast is a 15 minute walk to Harvard Square and a block or two from Massachusetts Avenue where there are restaurants and stores. You can also catch the T on Massachusetts and at Harvard Square. On my first visit I walked to Massachusetts Ave to catch the bus to...

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your honest and fair review of Harding House. I'm glad you found our location so convenient and breakfast so satisfying! We are always looking for areas where we can improve and I have already seen what you mean about the baseboards. Paint touch ups and corners of the stairs are some of the areas of...

This place was so QUIET! Which was a pleasant surprise. Love that it offered parking too. B&B was clean and comfy. Breakfast was basic, but got the job done. Will definitely stay here again should I need a place to crash in the city for a night.

We stayed here with our two children and we all enjoyed our stay. The rooms are decently sized and very clean. The beds offered good support. The dated furniture in the common areas should not deter you from booking, especially when one could considers the very reasonable price point. Breakfast is a bit slow but staff is very accommodating to...

We had a pretty unremarkable stay at this B&B. It is clean, the breakfast is OK, and it is walking distance from Hahvahd, which was important to us for that trip. We had a room on the ground floor behind the reception, and like some of the other reviewers, we did notice that the walls were somewhat thin (the owner...

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I appreciate that you noted that Cambridge can have higher then average rates. The only thing I would add is that October is a peak month in this area so rates will reflect that. If you had any reason to come to the area for instance in December or January you would see significantly...

Our family of 4 stayed here over the fall break weekend while visiting cousins in two local universities. We had a family room on the first floor facing the street. It consisted of a king bed and two single beds. The room was adequate size. The bathroom was a little small. The floors were hardwood with rugs covering most of...

We stayed for 4 nights. I found the reception staff helpful. The location suited us and the breakfasts were fine too. The room was adequate and I liked the o.d world decor. I liked having access to teas and coffees on tap. We found the cleaner needed training in cleaning. She did not refill consumables. We had to ask for...

Dear Guest, I wanted to follow up with you to let you know that I am in the process of organizing a time to "retrain" our housekeepers. We do consider ourselves to be a "Harding House family" here and I agree that maybe some have gotten a little too comfortable in their routine and work to the point of perhaps...

Located centrally in Cambridge, 15 minutes walk from harvard & MIT. Plenty of options around for food. Building itself is very nice although a bit louder then normal hotels, both from within the hotel and noise coming in from the street. Didn't bother me at all but a light sleeper might have a problem. Clean and service was excellent.
