This B&B is conveniently located to Harvard Square and the metro station, and yet on a quiet residential street. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and quaint. Breakfast arrives on a tray in the morning--the offerings are limited but you can have as much as you want. David was extremely personable, informative and accommodating.

Lovely house, good-sized room, with distinctive antique mahogany Victorian furniture, updated with comfortable mattress and modern amenities. Nice view of park across the street. Friendly, informative welcome from David, who makes himself available if needed, but if not called upon, discreetly withdraws to allow guests privacy. David is clearly a very experienced host and has through all the practical details...

Really enjoyed our stay; we'd definitely go back. Dave is very welcoming and informative, then he's great about letting you do your own thing, which we appreciated. Specifically, we stayed in the Cambridge Room and it was lovely. The location is very convenient and an easy walk to the rest of Cambridge (and it's immediately surrounded by cute neighborhoods). If...

Location ideal. Welcome informative. Whole experience very impersonal. Breakfast unexciting. We went on to stay in quite a number of B&Bs in both the US and Canada, so we quickly came to realise what might normally be expected service-wise.

This quaint bed-and-breakfast is in an excellent location for anyone visiting Harvard (or even MIT). Dave, the owner, is super-friendly, and will give you all sorts of tips on what's going on in the city. Dave also shared some of the local history which was extremely informative. This is not really and bed-and-breakfast, although Dave DOES serve a continental breakfast...

My wife Nancy and I stayed at Parkside the first week in June. We arrived a bit late do to plane travel delays but were greeted warmly by David who took his time to show us our room and educate us on a few places to see and things to do. The room was great and our morning breakfast was...

From the moment I arrived David the host created an amazing first impression that carried on until we said our Goodbyes some 4 days later. The room was really well appointed, quiet and gave me a chance to unwind after a day of education. Really conveniently located with a nice 10 minute stroll to Harvard Square and transport options to...

Spent three nights during my grad school reunion in the Scholar room. Very friendly and helpful owner, clean and charming room (wonderful selection of old books to peruse), and excellent location -- walk anywhere in Harvard or Central Square in 10-15 minutes. Quite private and quiet. Feels like staying in someone's very nice spare room. Only cons were (1) very...

This B and B is conveniently located to Harvard Square and the T, and yet on a quiet residential street. The rooms are beautifully decorated and soothing. Position of B&B convenient. Room comfortable. Service totally non existent. After our first night, we came back to find the beds not made, bathrooms not cleaned, trash cans not emptied out. In fact there were no cleaners at all. However, If you stay 6 days or more then on 6th day your room will be 'freshened up'. Have you ever??? I...
