We spent one night at the motel. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. There are a lot of trails in the park and beautiful waterfalls. We will stay there again! But DO NOT eat at the restaurant there!

They are dated. Last renovations at Desoto were probably in the 1980s. If rustic old lodge is your style, then this will be fine, if Hampton Inn is more your style this will not be the place for you. They will have... More
They are dated. Last renovations at Desoto were probably in the 1980s. If rustic old lodge is your style, then this will be fine, if Hampton Inn is more your style this will not be the place for you. They will have polyester comforters, and old carpet. The staff are wonderful, but Alabama isn't about to spend a dime on a state park. We treat this as camping
