Stayed one night in the camp site. The terraced tent pitches afford all the campers a lovely private site with beautiful views over the bay. Even with a full guest house to attend to the owners went out of their way to make us campers feel very welcome and to ensure we could avail of all the amenities. The breakfast...

I have just come back from a great stay ( business trip working with Donegal Yarns - 5 nights) at Dun Ulan. The B&B is located in a wonderful location with fantastic views looking over the bay. Joanie is lovely and always started my day (at breakfast) with lots of lively chat and laughs. The rooms are very comforatble and...

My second visit to Dún Ulún - I love this place - the setting is just magical overlooking a beautiful bay between Kilcar & Carrick. Joanie was brilliant - so friendly, helpful and welcoming with our group of 13. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Joanie sorted out our dinner booking when we discovered the place we had...

Joanie is an absolutely lovely woman and a perfect B&B host. I felt right at home with her and know if I lived there, we would be fabulous friends. We didn't want to eat out so we cooked up some things we had bought earlier in her kitchen which she kindly made available to us and ate out front at...

This place was wonderful. The views are amazing and the couple that runs it are fantastic! Probably the most comfortable bed we slept on the whole time we were in Ireland. It made an excellent base for exploring Donegal and we ended up staying one more night than we originally intended.

On a tour of Ulster this summer, our stay at Kilcar was by far the best part for me. Better than the giants causeway or the rope bridge at carrick-a-rede were the stunning views at Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in Europe. I was told about Slieve League by a local man Gerry Lyons who, together with his wife...

The view from my bedroom window was the best of all the places I stayed in Ireland - straight out over the bay, about 100ft up! Joanie and Jerry were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom and facilities were not fancy but clean and comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room should you want to prepare your own...
