I stayed here my last night in Iceland because they have a Northern lights wakeup call and because it is next to the Blue Lagoon. I found this hotel to not be worth the price. I paid less then half on other nights of my stay at Hotel Berg and it was much nicer. The wake up call seems to...

If you plan on making the Blue Lagoon part of your Iceland trip, book it for the morning of your departure (which is hopefully late afternoon or evening) and stay at Northern Light Inn the night before. We stayed here two nights, but I would only recommend one as there does not seem to be much to do in this...

Myself and some friends stayed at the hotel early Feb 2015. We loved every minute, the staff were so helpful and were always willing to help. Rooms were always clean and loved the areas throughout the hotel where you could relax. If staying at this hotel please talk the reception about eating at a local restaurant called 'salthusid' the owner...

Stayed for one night at the end of a short tour and the obvious highlight was a remarkable display of the Northern Lights. But the hotel itself was superb too - much more spacious than it looked and beautifully decorated with several comfortable lounges. Staff were very friendly and organised our transfer to the airport on our last day. They...

this is a special and somewhat overlooked hotel. most people go to the blue lagoon as a day trip or on their way to the airport. this is a hotel that is within walking distance to the lagoon and the owners will get you from or take you to the airport. (or from the lagoon if you can't make the...

We stayed one night here on our last night in Iceland. The hotel is much larger than we expected, and is spacious, warm, and has a number of very comfortable reception rooms for sitting and relaxing. We arrived late at night when the entire population of the Inn had rushed outside to see the Northern Lights which was lovely! Such...

What a beautiful, clean, spacious hotel! The rooms were modern, clean and large with a small fridge/freezer extra towels and delicious chocolates on arrival! Stayed for 1 night at the end of a tour, to be close to the Blue Lagoon and It's airport. Location for the former is 5/5 but for anything else 3/5. As with many places in Iceland, it is remote, baron and somewhat bleak - especially in winter. I naively thought we could walk from the hotel to the lagoon...

Stayed there for one night in February. Staff very helpful. Clean comfortable room. Dinner was excellent with locally caught fish. Breakfast was only continental, but good quality. We asked to be woken up if the northern lights appeared which they did. They have a tower and balcony from which you can view the lights.A nice touch.
