The hotel is immaculate. We only stayed 1 night and was upgraded to a family room. The quality of everything was very impressive. The Honesty bar was a cute touch. We enjoyed the free waffle station in the afternoon. We also had dinner at the Max's restaurant and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent a couple of days at the Northern Light Inn while enroute to Europe. We had visited Reykjavik in the past and decided this time to stay in a quiet location outside the city. This was perfect. The hotel itself is a lovely, comfortable, relaxing place to stay not too far from Keflavik airport. The location is peaceful and...

Well this was nice plesant stay also, only 300 Canadian dollar, very good breakfast. Clean and neat like all hotels in Iceland, bathrooms modern. Offer honesty bars. Also free shuttle to blue lagoon every hour

My husband and I started our week long Iceland adventure with a few hours at the Blue Lagoon and the night at the Northern Light Inn and would recommend both. The hotel is nice and clean and has great common areas with an English themed honesty bar for drinks and a fireplace room with lots of sofas and chairs and...

We ended our Iceland vacation with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon - and were happy to have a hotel close by on our final night. They are only 20 min from Keflavik airport (and apparently have a shuttle). While at first it doesn't look particularly noteworthy, we were impressed with the size of the room, the bathroom was...

We had the most fantastic stay at the Northern Light Inn - hotel certainly lived up to its name with the Aurora putting in an appearance on each of the five nights we stayed - how lucky were we!!! Room was spacious, warm and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly and the waffles each afternoon were a welcome bonus. We ate...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We came here for only one night to go to the blue lagoon and be close to the airport. The drive up is magical as the scenery around the hotel is great. Restaurant food is brilliant and not to be missed. We enjoyed the location and there was a free shuttle to the airport....

We treated ourselves to a night at the Northern Lights Inn after visiting the Blue Lagoon & Grindavik and before flying home. From the moment we were greeted, everything about our experience was positive. Rooms were clean and very comfortable (with a great view out over the lava fields), common areas were nicely set up and staff were friendly and...

We stayed here on our last night of a four day trip so that were close to the Blue Lagoon and the airport for our early flight. We arrived at lunchtime but were able to check into our Family room which had a double bed and two proper single beds for our teenagers (much better than a sofa bed). We...

First I'd say in general that most of our experience in Iceland was friendly folks. There's a nice shuttle from the airport that they get through a third party. They also have a shuttle to the blue lagoon resort which quick <1 mile away. The price of the hotel itself was reasonable and includes breakfast. The room was very nice...
